I loved this hostel. Everyone was really nice from the first day. I loved the mint tea and the shisha. They were very hospitable. Only thing they can improve on is organization, such as when I arrived, my room was not ready yet and when I asked for a towel, they ran out of large ones so I had a small one. But these are very minor. I'm not too high maintenance nor was I in a rush, while I waited, they were very kind and gave me a map telling me about the city, and also informed how to haggle!

It was really awesome, except for the only night we were there as we were going to sleep the staff along with some guests started playing hand drums right next to our room (not that it mattered how close it was, it reverberated throughout the entire building), we asked them how long they'd be playing for, basically to let them know we were trying to sleep, and they politely told me to be quiet and played for an additional 40 min. Aside from that, the hostel was very nice! Beautiful building!

This was a great hostel and well worth the money! Breakfast was included and they have free dinner on friday nights. Accomodations were simple, but really wasnt looking for anything special. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location was great too, about a 10 minute walk from the city center.

This hostel has really good value for money, the staff is nice, they can arrange a trip (and it was cheaper than what we were expecting), there is breakfast every day (bread, butter, honey) and is really clean. I heard some people saying there isn't any hot water, but there is, you just have to run it a bit longer. There is always someone by the front desk to let you in and the staff is very friendly.

The members of the Staff are the soul of the hostel, and the reason we went back and chose this place among the others. Adil, Younes, Sijane and the berber guitar player thank you for your hospitality, for the tea and for the lovely friday dinner. Auberge Douzi II is my home in Marrakech!

The hostel was great, the staff is all very hospitable. They all do an excellent job to make sure we felt welcomed. We got lost one night and accidentally found the other hostel owned by the same people. They had us sit down, made sure we were alright, and then one girl walked us back to our hostel! Everything was very clean. The roof terrace is really nice and a cool place to hang out. Only cons: Shower's either boiling or freezing, and our room had an easy-access window that did not lock.

Staff were very warm and hospitable and joined us for festivities in the common rom at night. Comfortable and quiet; best way to find your way there is to ask the locals once you get to El Fina sqaure as they are all aware of its existence.

I highly recommend this hostel. It is extremely good value for money, very comfortable and clean with a gorgeous terrace to relax on. Most importantly though, the staff are fantastic! More like friends than staff.

This is a wonderful hostel! The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. The riad has a great rooftop terrace where we spent a great deal of our time cooking, eating, and hanging out with the other travelers. The rooms were cozy, and had space heaters. The beds linens were clean too. The only caveats I would suggest are that it can be loud late into the night because of the social atmosphere, and hot water is scarce in the showers. They do have toilet paper, though. Overall it is a great stay!

I really enjoyed my time here. The staff were excellent and didn't try to push any trips on to me and were always friendly. It's clean and the cheap dorm I stayed in had an ensuite bathroom - bonus! It's a 10 minute walk away from the hustle of the souks and the main square, which could be good or bad depending on what you want. The roof terrace is a great place to chill out and meet people.

Adil was an awesome guy. He is very hospitable and the hostel was one of the best experiences I have had in my travels. The staff is what makes this hostel a great place, and they went above and beyond to help us.

Very clean hostel, lovely staff. We were able to organise our desert trip through the hostel; paying a reasonqble price too....not ripped off. On arrival; we mentioned we were hungry and straight away the staff offered us bread and tea; it was lovely:

This was a great Riad! Besides the fact that it can be a bit trick to find, but when you do find it it\'s like gold! Great people, I especially thank Majid, Adil & the two ladies working there at the time, it was great fun being with you and you really helped me find my way around Marrakesh. They helped me so well that after 2 days I was showing other tourists around the Old Medina! The atmosphere and friendliness was great for me, it was a real relaxed and fun time. Staying there 5 nights was really wor

The hotel could be cleaner but staff is wonderful - breakfast is not great - some variety would make it much much better...its bread, butter and tea.

Pros: English speaking friendly staff, free luggage storage, main square 10 minute walk, terrace with seating on roof and evening tea, free wifi reaching most rooms, cleaned often, good breakfast. Cons: Staff smoked inside, many cats around, hot water not reliable. All rooms open to same inner courtyard with reception at the bottom where staff and guests often played music or watched videos until past midnight, also very loud doorbell ringer. This is not a quiet hostel.
