A very clean place, rooms are excellent for 2-3 people, owners are nice people but I think they overcharge a little for stuff even tough the hostel is not in Quebec City perse

We stayed at LouLou's for 5 nights and had a very pleasant experience. Regrettably the location is quite far from Quebec City however the hostel does provide shuttles from the hostel to Quebec at a reasonable price and does accommodate for personal preferences regarding timing. We did become familiar with public transport in the area and the busses/ferries are quite cheap given the distance travelled. Stay here if you are flexible with travel times and are after some local insight into Quebec!

The couple is wonderful as a host. The facility is very basic but very clean. Bathrooms are outside of the rooms. The location is far out - about 25 mins drive from Québec city and 20 mins drive from the ferry station. The big breakfast ($6) is huge and it's worth the money. Overall, it is a comfortable stay but definitely not the ideal location if the main goal is to tour Québec city.

Had a good night, room was clean had good ventilation-as it was unusually hot there. The only downside was location, other than if you're coming off of the VIA train as that's in the back yard of the hostel. I had to walk 25 mins on the highway to get to the bus stop. Also, quebec's public transport needs a lot of help.

Nice hostel, clean with good facilities and in good area. We accessed old town by driving to ferry port in Levis and catching boat directly into lower old town.

We picked this place because we were traveling by car and were in need of parking, so we didn't mind the distance to the old Quebec City. If you don't have a car though it is really far out. Everything was very clean and the breakfast was really good and we liked that there was a kitchen as well. It is located quite closely to the traintracks, so if you have a light sleep you might be bothered by that. Other than that everything was perfect!

This was a great place to stay for quiet nights, and was a perfect jumping-off platform for trips into Quebec City. The hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the city, as well. Breakfast was delicious and inexpensive. My wife and I will stay here again if we're in the area!

The owner Mr. lou Lou and his family were very nice and hospitable to us. They gave us good service and breakfast. I shall definitely return to their place again. The place was very clean and their family keep the property very good. They treated us as their family member.

Staff very friendly! They are not close to Quebec city and there are no easy public transport from the hostel to the city. Therefore, if you don't have a car you might become dependent on the shuttle they offer, which is not so cheap and have limited times! Overall very good hostel! ;)
