We got a great suggestion the first night to take the ferry from Levis to Quebec City- DO THIS! There's parking at the ferry for $5, and the ferry ride was one of the most beautiful and unforgettable parts of our trip. One other note: This hostel seems like it would be a tough place to stay if you didn't have a car.
This was a fantastic place to stay just outside of Quebec City! The staff were lovely people, warm, kind, fun and very helpful!! We had some great chats and the owners son even helped us find a mechanic for our car! The common rooms are nice and open and easy to meet others. The bedrooms were clean, spacious and warm. We had a car, so the slight distance out of town was fine and the free parking made life a lot easier. Thanks guys :)
This is the perfect place to stay in the outskirts of montreal. If you have a car, excellent! The staff are amazing. Its clean, sooo comfortable and down the road from shops etc. We stayed an extra night it was that good! Light sleepers, be aware of the loud train every morning. Eat poutine at the chic shack, it will change your life :)
Very nice hosts and very cosy hostel. There is plenty of free parking in the premises, and the $3 breakfast is superb. The only drawback is that you will definitely need public transportation or private car to reach the downtown.
Beautiful hostel - a hundred percent recommended! Staff is so incredibly friendly, breakfast was delicious and fair priced (3 CAN $) and the facilities were as clean as can be. Only 'downside' - the location. If you are by car, it's no problem, but if not - let those guys give you a lift as it is not just on the brink of Quebec but really in the suburbs on the other side of the Saint Lawrence River. But apart from that - it's the perfect hostel for young and old!
