Un peu trop bruyant le soir et la nuit (bavardarges), mise a part ça, très bonne auberge.

The Walls were too thin, we could hear everything from someone entering the building to going to the bathroom. Staff was helpful, but they were not really friendly. Great location, but loud outside. Breakfast was okay.

I was very satisfied with my stay at Auberge L'Apero. Staff was chill, friendly and helpful. The location is right by two universities (Concordia and McGill) and thus has lots of things to do (bars, nightlife, museums, etc.). Right next to a metro line too. There were plenty of bathrooms and I liked that they have free lockers to use. The breakfast was generous (tea, cereal, milk, bread, jam). Character of the hostel was average but solid for sleeping. Explore Montreal instead!

We booked a 6-bed-dorm and ended up in a 12-bed-dorm. When I asked the guy about, he told me that this are two 6-bed-dorms with no door in between ... so we still had to pay a 6-bed-dorm. He wasn't very friendly as well.

Enjoyed my stay a lot, stayed in two rooms, first night in a nice small girls dorm then the second night in a bigger mixed dorm and both were great! Everyone was friendly and it was easy to make friends, good facilities and nice and close to everything. Definitely recommended.

Great spot- only one complaint There was a couple that stayed on the night of October 4th, (in the green door room) They barged in at midnight, woke everyone up and were the most load obnoxious, inconsiderate people you cam imagine. The male even had his friends on speaker phone, after midnight, laughing away, it was a little disgusting. But nothing against the house itself, I'd love to stay again!

The hostel (in general) was very dirty and loud. I don't mind sleeping next to a loud street, but I mind loud music at night played by the hostel staff. The staff was only on a rare basis present. No point in recommending the hostel to other bookers.

OK Experience. Large Locker that easily fits a carry on airplane suitcase. Good clean beds but dirty bathrooms.

The place was nice and tidy. The staff are also very friendly. However, there are quite a lot of noises outside in the street.

The staff was really nice and fun. The hostel itself though was very dirty, basically in every area(bathroom stroke me the most) - and I didnt get the impression that the staff was very occupied so that there would be no time to clean.

I stayed 2 times in this hostel during the last month, first time eveyrthing was clean and good but the second time the bathrooms were dirty and the sheets not that clean. The hostel is well located, close from a subway station and the staff is very nice
