A good place with very helpful staff, and possibly the best showers of any hostel Ive ever stayed in. However they do need to sort out the mattresses!!

since its website says it opens at 7:00am, i went there around 8:00am but it was not open (and there was nobody answering to my call) later i met a receptionist there, and learned that it actually opens at 10:00am. It was not too serious problem, but this kind of misleading information should be changed.

Very nice place. Cosy bedrooms, warm blanket, free lockers, convenient kitchen, clean bathrooms. Very nice staff. Close to the Métro & streets to go out. Breakfast till 1pm which is great & several choices : jam, peanuts butter, toasts, cereals, milk, tea... I recommand this place! Great value quality/price

It's a well located hostel. Rooms are roomy and there are plenty bathrooms. The kitchen it's a little bit under equipped and dirty. I wish they have more glasses and cups and that they keep the kitchen (specially the fridge) clean. Overall it''s ok for the price that you pay.

The 12 bed dorm should not be advertised as two six bed dorms.

The area that can be improved is the number of bathrooms available for use as there were 24 people sharing 3 baths on one level. Besides that, this is a hostel that will be highly recommended to anyone who is on a budget and enjoys clean hostels.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hostel. You can't ask for a better location, and the staff was very helpful regarding places to go, how to get there, etc. The breakfast options also are nice, and I appreciated that there was quiet.

La propreté est à revoir ! Peu de place pour le monde qu\'il y a. Bonne équipe, chaleureuse et à l\'écoute.

The Walls were too thin, we could hear everything from someone entering the building to going to the bathroom. Staff was helpful, but they were not really friendly. Great location, but loud outside. Breakfast was okay.

I was very satisfied with my stay at Auberge L'Apero. Staff was chill, friendly and helpful. The location is right by two universities (Concordia and McGill) and thus has lots of things to do (bars, nightlife, museums, etc.). Right next to a metro line too. There were plenty of bathrooms and I liked that they have free lockers to use. The breakfast was generous (tea, cereal, milk, bread, jam). Character of the hostel was average but solid for sleeping. Explore Montreal instead!

Could certainly use some more cleaning on restrooms and kitchen. And, as somoelse said, staff are loud at night! My room was close to \"reception\" and they were playing PC games like until 1 AM a very loud volume. Also couldn t understand why A/C was on (?) ... kind of weird for December... in Canada!
