This place was very difficult to find having never been to Marrakesh, but a local helped me find my way here. The rooms are basic but nice and cool, with a ceiling fan, and the rooftop is nice in the early morning or evening for chatting with other guests chilling out. If you are going to stay choose a room with an ensuite as the communal bathroom for the cheaper rooms is awful, with showers that don't drain, cockroaches, and not much space. The staff were extremely helpful.

The biggest problem I had with this hostel was the smell of stale water and fact that the showers didn\'t drain well. The staff was so nice and helpful!

The stuffs, foods,(I missed the free breakfast though,Friday couscous was so good!)atmosphere, the rooftop...I really enjoyed this hostel. Laying down and sunbathing on rooftop terrace was such a nice time. Especially I'd like to say thank you to the reception girl at Douzi 2,she was so cheerful and I'm sure you can enjoy staying with her. Reception boys helped me a lot when I was running out the time to get CTM also...I'll come back there for sure on next visit in Morocco:) Thank you. - Rina

The Hostel is amazing the atmosphere, the staff are so kind and famigliar with the visitors. Is a good place for young and old person. Marrackech is a beautifull city, for sure is very caotic, but the difference are the precius of this city.

Great. Cheap. Good free breakfast. They were extremely helpful with pointing us in the right direction gave me a map. Thin walls tho could have been a problem if you had loud neighbors.

I stayed at the Auberge Riad Douzi with two friends (all male) on a weekend trip to Marrakech and found the hostel to be great value and very conveniently located - just 2 minutes walk from \"La Place\". The hostel owner/manager(?) is really helpful and friendly, as are his staff. The riad has great character and a lovely roof terrace for sitting in the sun and dining - we even got a free dinner with all the other guests on arrival on Friday night and a free, traditional breakfast was available each day.

I've been in this hostel by 3 nights. I had a reservation for first 2 nights, but the problem was when I stayed for another one day - Arabian guy (he also offered a trip to us) said that I had to pay bigger amount for last day - 10 euro (normally cost 5/6 euro per night). And he said that the lower price is only for Internet reservation (Ofcourse it was a bullshit, and he want to take a money to his pocket). It was very unfair, and left a big disgust after stay at this hostel.

Auberge Riad Douzi is a wonderful place to stay in Marrakesh. The hostel is good and the people are very kind and helpful, especially Abdul and Salma. Every morning you can get breakfast, which is good, also with the lovely 'Marocan whisky'. It's very nearby the center of the city, just like five minutes walk to the square El Fna. At fridaynight it's couscousnight, they make free couscous for everyone who'd like to have some. Great opportunity: the couscous is delicious.

The staff was so hospitable, welcoming and informative. They went above and beyond their duties and we all had a great time! It is a wonderful value for your money, beautiful roof top terrace to relax after a wild day in the city. The atmosphere was beautiful, tiles and plants. The location was very easy to get around the city from. I would love to go back and stay again, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
