Need a car to get to city (10 minutes drive)otherwise location is excellent with restaurants nearby. Staff friendly & helpful & can speak English. We had a motel room which was excellent value. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay! Although this place isnt really a hostel, its a motel/hotel. When we got there they didnt know we had made a reservation, even after we showed them the confirmation print out from hostel world. They gave us their cheapest room (around $110.00 CAD) in the motel part of the place which was very clean and nice to stay in! Its about a 5-7 minute drive to downtown Quebec City, and parking is really not that big of a problem, and they are close to everything downtowwn

The staff were all extremely helpful, though not always accurate. The location is totally unsuitable for anyone without a car.

The website states this hostel/motel is 5 minutes from Old Quebec - maybe if you have a jet plane, but that is certainly not at all true. It is minimum 40 mins on a bus (including the walk to the bus stop). It takes 1.5 hours to walk to Old Quebec! And we walk reasonably fast. There is also no swimming pool as advertised on hostel world (it is barely even a paddling pool - just a shower to stand under to 'refresh yourself'). Finally, the staff never cleaned our room when we stayed.
