I found the hostel really good. Location can't be better (middle of Auckland city, 20 mts from the most important street), bed, mattress and linen were better than other hotels in AUK. Definitly I would recommend to stay at base.I found the hostel really good. A very large hostel, with all the things you could want, but very little soul. As corporate a hostel as you will ever find, its actually pretty good... for what it is. Vending machines, kiosks, services fore hire at every turn. Peole who worked there was very friendly went out of there way at times!! location is perfect could not ask to get any where closer!!! was bit upset with check ins and check out! we arrived at 5am and had to wait til 1pm to get into our room!! then had to check out at 10am and wait around til 5pm we were hungover not good!!!
