We spent two nights in Vienna for a short visit. This hotel is located conveniently near a main train station (10 min walk) and prater amusement park. It feels safe. It is a converted university dorm so not a typical hostel or hotel. The bathroom is clean and spotless. There are two beds with clean linens. Very spacious room with fan and full length mirror. Very private. Very close to augarten park which is beautiful!

The hotel is easy to find with data connection, but we were going off the directions in the email. They definitely need to add a few steps. Be sure to save the location in google maps so you can use the GPS to find it. Other than that, it's near a good number of sights, but be prepared to take the tram to the city center. Laundry is available onsite for 5 euro (wash and dry). The only bar in the area, Bricks, is awesome and worth a visit. Very friendly and English-speaking staff.

Our double en suite was huge and very clean! The staff on reception were very helpful and the decor of the lobby and privacy of our room made it feel more like we were staying in a hotel than a hostel, but at hostel prices making it even sweeter! Would definitely recommend to others and would definitely stay here again should I be back in Vienna!

Bathroom was quite dirty wih lots of hair from the previous person. There is no social vibe and felt like an isolated experience.

This hostel almost feels like a hotel- we had a 2 person private room with our own bathroom. Nice and quiet and very clean if a little lacking in some of the more community oriented aspects of some hostels. The staff were extremely helpful and accomodating. Provided excellent suggestions for eating and sightseeing. Augarten is a 15 minute walk from St Stephens area and is a 5 minute walk from the nearest metro (Augarten). Overall great stay!

Hostels in Vienna seem to simply be more expensive than other places in Europe. Staying here was the same as booking 2 beds at a regular hostel. Noting special.

This is a lovely hostel, just very out of the way from the city station.

Very nice place near the Prater.
