This hostel was in a great location, and the room was slightly better than expected. The bathrooms on our floor were always busy, but overall the hostel was very nice.

Friendly staff. Large and light room. Nice area with many cafés. Bathrooms predominantly clean. Unfortunately you hear when someone is in the corridor or on the stairs.

The location of the hostel is superb - just next to our favorite Kastanien street with lots of cool places to eat. Wifi internet access definitely deserves overhaul - out of the three (!) wifi networks provided by the staff it was not possible to get satisfactory connection. Instead we squatted on someone's open acces point in the neighborhood. Hot water pressure can change unexpectedly in shower.Squeaky wooden floor on the corridors can be intrusive during the night. Otherwise very good choice.

Hostel was near a metro stop and the bed was comfortable. I wish there had been breakfast. And I had to pay in cash, which I had not expected. It should have been marked on this website that they don't accept credit cards.

i would recomment this hostel to older-, business- or non party-visitors. it's clean and good located. very quiet and puristic furnished. bathrooms re great! ... the long and windowless corridors are sometimes a bit scary ;)

the hostel was a bit tricky to find at first, mainly because of the stupid map i had, but when i got to the hostel the stafff not only gave me a better more detailed map, but explained good streets and areas to go visit.

It was clean & quiet. The bathrooms were clean & warm with hot showers. Underfloor heating is a nice touch. I would have preferred the bedroom to include some basics like a clock rather than fancy colour mood lighting. The staff were very good in being flexible and accommodating when I arrived late at night after reception closed (due to flight cancellations). In contrast, during the day the staff were often absent from reception and seemed too busy to be very helpful which was a shame.

Our stay in the Aurora Hostel was perfect, everyone was nice and helpful and everything was really clean ! The heat was just a bit too strong but it was so cold outside that it was ok ! Thanks !!

We paid approximately 50euros for a room with a double bed and then a shared bathroom. The room was clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. I liked the simplicity of it. The modern art all over the hostel adds a contemporary feeling, which I also liked.

The hostel was great, really quiet which is what I was looking for. The location was in the very pretty area of Prenzlauer Berg. My room was really large for a single, it had a double bed and was really nice and warm. There was a small communal area but I never saw anyone there, this is definitely not a party hostel.
