Too many rules and regulations, a hostel is meant to welcoming, not reminding it's guests at every opportunity that if they don't conform to the hostel's strict policies that they will be ejected without refund. Also you should be allowed to use the aircon whenever you like not only when the hostel feels like letting you. More akin to a young offenders than a hostel.

Thank you for your comments. We're at the moment reviewing our policies to check where we can improve and change. The only things that we ask are: no alcohol, no noise after 10PM (as we are in a residential area and could get a lot of trouble) and wash your own dishes. Of course we do give out warnings before asking someone to leave. I'm not sure why these feel so unwelcoming? We will reflect on the aircon-situation, however, we clearly advertise that the usage is for hotnights only.

Thank you for your kind words, you're very welcome to return!

Very nice and super relaxed hostel : you really feel at home. Very friendly staff. Nice room with really nice balconies. A bit far from the city center but still at a walkable distance

When we arrived, no one at reception so we buzzed the buzzer and after about 5-10 mins someone came. 3.5% credit card fee to pay for the room, need cash for the key deposit, had to go get some and I was made to wait in the smoking area with our bags which was unpleasant (reception is next to smoking area) room was clean and fairly good but the one staff member we met in the 2 days we stayed was rude. Free wifi only works outside in the smoking area

The place is a quiet. Perfect for long terms but even for a few days. Very clean, very different from the mess of most of the Australian hostels. Nice swimming pool and relaxed atmosphere.

Good hostel. Central neighbourhood. Wifi is however not working very well

Thank you for your review. We are acutely aware that our wifi doesn't work well, which is why it is free. This is unfortunately not our fault, but rather due to outdated internet cables which makes the Internet bad for everyone in the neighborhood.

Everything was fine with room and the showers. Although the kitchen is a big let down. It's too small for the amount of people staying there and is only open between 8am and 8pm. Not ideal for people who work early or late.

The location is excellent. It closes to the Roma station. The room is clean but the kitchen will close from 9pm to 8am., so you must cook early. However, everything is good.
