The bathroom was kept clean, but only one female toilet per floor, which was in the bathroom, was insufficient.

Far from town. Wifi slow and you have to pay $5 per day which isn't that much if only it worked better. Kitchen is ridiculously small and hard for anymore than two people to cook at a time. We also had a cockroach in our room that would come rustle around our bags at night but we couldn't catch it. Overall not that bad but you could get more for your money elsewhere.

If you want a little quiet and a nice place not far from brisbane city and valley areas this is the place. Also the satellite TV is the best I've seen ever. Has every channel you could want.

It was a really nice and friendly stay! The hostel is no party-house, more familial.

Great location on a quiet street near stadium, 10 minute walk downtown. Kitchen very small, so not a place for Masterchefs. But pool is fantastic!

Really nice place, lovely atmosphere and great room. Air con was pretty rubbish though and very noisy. Kitchen facilities and shower etc were great though. x

We stayed in a private room which was actually in a separate house at the back. Our house was lovely- traditional queenslander style in really good condition with the pool just outside. My only negative comments would be that the internet was additional cost ($5 for the day, even though we only wanted to check emails in the evening!). Supermarket is very close and city only a short walk away. Our room was lovely with double doors that opened onto a veranda, but this was also not very secure...

Nice place to stay and to meet young people. Not too much party for those who like it quiet.

Unbelievably nice hos.tel, easily the best we have stayed in, both New Zealand and Australia! It shames all the big hostels by having low prices and managing to be super clean, very friendly and have a fantastic location. I don't think we can recommend this hostel more highly

Pro: close to Roma street station and close to downtown. Quite in the night. Free coffee Cons: Lots of limiting rules like "only have 2 min showers". Small ( single ) room. Barely no space for the luggage. Low number of power outlets; You have to decide, if you want to have your stuff cooled in the fridge or watch TV.

After spending many months in Asian hostels I got used to the relaxed approach. There are way too many rules in this place. It feels like you are a 5 year old at school!

Good hostel if you just want a place to sleep. It's very quiet that you can easily get bored though. If you want to party and meet people I'd rather recommend you to choose another hostel.

Owner Comment (Show)
Thank you. We don't want to be a party hostel. We prefer to be quiet and family friendly.

The staff were great and friendly. The hostel was clean well maintained and comfortable. Facilities were excellent. The only small issue was that the sheets had been put on the bed whilst damp which made for a cold nights sleep. Overall an excellent visit.
