This hostel is not great or terrible, just average. On the positive side it has nice gardens and communal areas to relax, on the negative side it is poorly constructed, noisy, and customer service was not great.

I stayed in a private ensuite room for 1 night. The room was clean and comfortable, very similar to a standard motel room. The only difference was that I had to bring my linens to the reception in the morning. The hostel was located on a rather deserted street, a few minutes walk from the beach. I arrived late, so the manager sent me instructions on getting the key to my room. The WiFi required payment, so I did not use it. The manager was very nice and gave me good advice about my trip.

Really loved my stay at this hostel! Rooms were very clean and staff were very friendly (probably because they had a Kiwi on the front desk! ;)) Only spent two nights but was very happy that i was upgraded to the female only dorm where there were only 3 beds and not bunks for the same price! Tv room and Kitchen were perfect for the size of hostel! If you are looking for somewhere chilled out and really friendly i would definitely stay here again!

What a lovely hostel. Brent has been a great host. He was very welcoming and helpful in selecting our Fraser Island tour. The hostel itself is perfect for us. Laid back and peaceful. Lovely communal area, and it is very well looked after. We genuinely enjoyed our stay here.

A very nice Hostel! The best we´ve stayed in Australia. The owner is sooo friendly and the rooms are very clean. The common room is very big and has a nice atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this hostel and come again.

A very nice hostel. We only stopped the one night though so not much to say really. Very close to the beach and a few restaurants and bars. It is about a 30 min walk to the main shopping area though - you can get a shuttle to and from the hostel at set times.

One of the best and cleanest hostels on our journey. Not directly at the beach beach but not far away. Nice Staff, but they started cleaning of the common room at breakfast time... Will come again :-)

We had a double private/ensuite, which was nice. Coffe/Tee for free, huge TV/ kitchen facilities. Owners nice, A/C is extra $5 charge, room was clean, not far to woolwoth. You get free WiFi if you book a tour at the Hostel. Our friend stayed in a 3 girl dorm, which was very small. The first night one room was robbed because the girls did not lock their door- so watch out!
