Really enjoyed my stay here, in one of the private doubles. The hostel is decorated as you would expect a woolshed to look, adds a nice touch! Bit of a walk to the main supermarkets but the hostel offers a courtesy bus. About a 10-15 min walk to the beach.

We stayed, thanks an upgrade, in a Deluxe Double Room with TV and DVD Player, which was really nice and clean at all. The hostel is surrounded by a wonderful garden and equipped wit a nice common area and a kitchen. Organization was perfect, including pick up / drop off to the bus station and the late check-in into our rooms after coming back from Fraser Island in the late evening. We would stay here definitely again!

Great Hostel. Quiet,clean. Good for the more mature backpackers. Nice clean rooms, and close to the beach. Overall a really good hostel.

really liked this place, so stayed another night. Hervey Bay is nice and this place is a good base for Frazer Island and whale watcing. whale watching was amazing, frazer just ok, worth it for a day trip, no more

I really liked the common room in that wooden shed has a lot of character. we enjoyed the dart board as well. It is a nice quiet place and the garden is beautiful too. The rooms just didn't look like on the website, still quit cost though.

Someone said it\'s like staying at a friend\'s apartment rather than a hostel, a pretty good description. Great staff. A real party hostel, don\'t stay if this isn\'t what you\'re looking for.

Good location very close to the beach and local restaurants in Scarness. The hostel had a very relaxed atmosphere.

We had a nice room. Comfortable beds and a TV in the room!!! :-) The hostel is nice, very clean, close to the beach (5min walk). Staff is very friendly. No free internet access though...
