Very Nice hostel! It's not particular fancy or modern, but it's very homey, and the garden is like being in a proper house. Coffs is a cute little town with shops and nice cafés. There's a nice one just across the road with a river view. Go to Muffin Break in town! The sunset at muttonbirdisland overlooking the harbour is a must do! There are lots of free activities at the hostel everyday! Like kayaking, snorkelling, surfing etc. Staff is lovely. We were made popcorn! Would stay there again :)

This Hostel was awsome for me since I'm in a wheelchair. It had a very good bathrooom that was perfekt exept the high mirror. The beds were cosy and the staff helpful. Could be cleener and the bathrooom for the mens was small.

my friend and i have been in Australia since January, and we have stayed in many hostels. This is by far the best hostel we've stayed in! We arrived with the intention of staying for just the one night but loved coffs harbour and the hostel so much we ended up staying 2 weeks! The beach is a 5 minute walk, fun daily activities and the staff were amazing!! This hostel had an amazing atmosphere, everybody is friendly and we would definitely stay here again!! we 100% recommend this place :)

Good hostel. We were grateful for the shuttle bus, especially so early in the morning! Pretty good location and friendly staff.

we stayed at the hostel for originally just 2 days which turned to a week. the owner told us a little about coffs and took us to a viewpoint. the highlight had to be all the free stuff you got i. e. surfboards, kayaks, bodyboards as well as 2 activities a day pre planned with the hostel being small it was easy to make friends

Awesome hostel, best on the east coast if not all of Australia! Everything free from surfboards, bodyboards, canoes, kayaks, fishing gear, snorkels and the wifi - a treat to have free wifi in Australia! Bikes for hire too $5 all day. They organise two daily activities too from bbqs to surf kayaking. Location a 5 minute walk to beach, restaurants, bottle shop and supermarket. Free pick up and drop off to greyhound, train and airports too. All staff and management brilliant and helpful. Thank you

Best hostel we've stayed in by far!! all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the manager spent about 20 minutes fixing up two bikes and then allowed us to take them for free as they were slightly older than the other ones! atmposhere is amazing, everyone is incredibly friendly. so much free stuff to do from the hostel, including surfboards, paddleboards, kayaks and canoes. About a 5 minute walk to the beach and supermarket. Hostel was also very clean.

I've really enjoyed the night I've spent in this hostel. It's a chilled place, very friendly. All in all I think the room was comfortable and so was my sleep. I'll be back if I come back to Coffs Harbour!

it is an overcrowded hostel with very few toilets and showers. Therefore the toilets are often overused and very dirty. Also there is no cleaning of these toilets regularly. Rooms are overcrowded as well and not enough space to move around. Overall the cleanliness is very very poor.

Aussitel is definately got it right when setting up this hostel for backpackers. You just have to look at the free stuff availble, from Surfboards, paddle boards to snorkeling gear to name a few, to see that they are all about making your stay as enjoyable as possible. They organise 2 daily activites which are great for trying new activites and meeting other travellers, which is ideal for a lone traveller like myself. It was that enjoyable I have exteneded my stay and plan on returning later.

Had a lovely stay there, really good atmosphere and friendly staff. Would recommend for those looking for a "family-type" hostel. I appreciated the free surfboards!

Great hostel, so many activities for free or next to nothing. It's a bit of a walk everywhere here but that can't be helped free buses throughout the day aid this though. Really good, big kitchen.

Ive travelled to many countries and stayed in even more hostels and to be honest this is one of the best if not THE BEST Hostel Ive ever stayed at. It’s so good my 4 day initial planned stay has ballooned into several weeks! This is a common story with the backpackers I’ve met here. I usually stay in various Brisbane backpackers hostels but keep extending my stay here instead.

Aussitel is one of the best Hostels I stayed at! Coffs Harbour is quite a small place but the Hostel offers a lot of stuff to do. The place is clean and everyone is very friendly and helpful. I'd definetely go back!
