The Australis Guest House is on a quiet street not far from downtown Ottawa. Breakfast of fresh fruits and scones is included in the price and it helped me start the day on a high note. The hosts were friendly and had good advice on the capital and surrounding region. As a matter of interest, the 97 bus goes from the airport to downtown Ottawa. If you're feeling energetic and don't have too much luggage, you could walk from the Laurier stop to the Australis Guest House.

A really wonderful stay. We felt very comfortable in the B&B. It was a little hot for the first two days we stayed but there was a fan to keep cool. Breakfast was really nice.
