This hostel is situated appart from the city center, which is not reachable by foot. Thus, you need to use your car and find a way to park around the historical center. The hotel being a motel, you can conveniently park in front of your room. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. However, the rooms are all in the ground floor and quite cold. The atmosphere is gloomy and outdated. The bathroom was not convient at all : you can't shower without flooding everything. It was not very clean either.
This place is fine if you have a car. It is somewhat far from the main attractions in Ravenna. There are no washers and dryers and the staff is clueless about where you can go to get your clothes washed. We went to the mall and they refused to wash our intimates. This was really annoying.
We took one day accommodation to visit Ravenna’s mosaics. Accommodation is very near the canter of the town. Character and atmosphere is basic and somehow poor, but value for money is excellent. Staff is very kind. I highly recommend if only you are not looking for charming atmosphere.

Autohotel is an American-style motel- its cheap, basic, clean, nothng Italian about it, yet its a short drive to Ravenna's beautiful sights. Parking at your door. The coffee machine in the common room makes q nice coffee. The staff were very helpful, and spoke good English, too.
This is a very nice motel, convenient to the Venice-Ancona freeway. It is not convenient to the city center by foot or bus. The last bus back is around 8pm.
It's a typical motel, very clean and comfortable, but very far from centre, although there's a city bus which makes a stop there. No problem if you have a car.
