You couldn't close the windows completly, so it was pretty noisy. Free Internet was great.
All in all it was nice to stay in Avalon House.

would gladly stay here again. it was in a top spot and meant that we were within walking distance of everything that we wanted to see. The staff helped us out with anyquestion we had especially withhow to get to and from places very early in the morning and late at night. Thanks

Should have security locks/place for clients to put documents (eg passport), money, camera (the locks provided are cages, allowing people to see the contents). Room 112 have a hole in the floor, big enough for rats to pass trough. How do I know sheets have been cleaned?

Room 400 is like a smoker's lounge, as all the backpackers smoke constantly directly below - pretty disgusting. Breaksfast was basic but okay, and the staff were very friendly and helpful

The first impression you get is the strong smell in the entrance lobby, sweat and dirty clothes. I know, it comes from the customers. But ventilation could be improved.

Hostel was very nice and among others, thanks to this we spent really great time in Dublin. For sure we will recommend it to our friends. The only thing which we don't understand is why we was given two separates beds (in room, but opposite sites) if we booked places together?
