Its good value for money. Its a decent place to stay after a long day in Paris. Nothing much for facilities, its small, classic and gloomy designed. The toilet is very small than I expect. The lift is incredibly small as well, one of smallest I'ver seen. Breakfast is very reasonable in pricing. The receptionists are friendly and quite helpful.

It's worth the costs. We stayed in Avenir Hotel for five nights. We appreciated a nice terrace and the imposing view on illuminated Sacre Coeur (rooms on the fifth floor heading to it). The room was large enough. In november a bit chilly. There was a central heating, but the small heater at the door was dripping occasionally (at night). We put a bowl below instead informing the staff. We were affraid of a "turn off" solution :-) The breakfast included (but typically french, always the same).
