The position was good, but the hostel is hidden very well: more indications are needed. Otherwise it is pretty good and cosy.

Great great great hostel

Great hostel and really enjoyed the free breakfast. The facilities allowed guests to meet each other and talk. The only problem was that it was too loud at night and the showers didn't work that well. Overall, great stay in Budapest.

Great place to stay while in Budapest!

Location is excellent, just next to a metro stop and walking distance from some attractions. Beds are very comfortable and there's a curtain that gives you some privacy.

Loved the hostel but the people working at reception were very unfriendly and rude.

Fantastic hostel! The staff was very helpful, the location was so close to everything. Most of the toilet and shower stalls had broken locks, which led to some awkward encounters with hostel mates. Beyond that, I had a great time!

The hostel was perfect, very central, very clean and the way in which the rooms and beds are set up mean you get a decent amount of privacy in a shared room and your stuff is secure. The breakfast was a bit poor though, but we didn't even realise we got breakfast so that doesn't really matter.

A great hostel. Clean, spacious and fun! The staff (especially Orsai!) were wonderful and helpful. Always there to go the extra mile to help you figure out what is going on. Even if that means calling another hostel to figure out when they offer a tour or pub crawl. The hostel is really close to two of the popular ruin pubs/clubs - Instant and Szimpla. Everything is just great - thought the rooms were a little hot (no A/C). Nothing that can't be dealt with. Overall really great!

Great hostel in a great location. Great way to meet fellow travelers and learn about new places to visit in the area. Amazing value for your dollar. Would stay again.

Nice place to stay, clean and modern. Breakfast each morning was good. Only suggestion is that doors in the hostel slam a lot very loudly, something should be done about that. All in all I would stay there again.

Was there for 5 nights and enjoyed each one. The only problem is you can't make noise after 10:30pm, which is understandable given its location, but it's pretty much impossible to talk because large groups of people talking is too noisy. And there is no where to go where you can hang out. That kind of sucked when you want to sit, drink, and hang out. The stairs also need more light

great location and easy to get to from the train station! Lots of bars and restaurants nearby! Convenient that this hostel is located directly between the two castles. Didn't like the shower/bathroom situation (no windows at all)-- the entire floor shared 2 showers and 2 bathroom stalls. No A/C made this place miserably hot on our trip in June. Also-- the wifi was spotty which is frustrating when traveling abroad. No public computers to use. The free breakfast is a waste of your time.

This was a great place to stay, fantastic location outside Oktogon metro station which was great for exploring the rest of the city. The beds each had curtain and cupboard space for more privacy. The staff were very helpful and the best meals we had was on a recommendation from one of the lovely guys on reception. We were staying in June which was very hot particularly in our dorm and it would have been nice to have a fan going as having the windows open wasn't really enough. I recommend!
