Just stayed the one night, didn't use much of the facilities but what I saw was clean and the staff were very friendly!

Really helpful and friendly staff, cosy hostel full of great facilities, and a great location for exploring the Cairngorms. We had a great stay here, thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hostel is huge and there are common areas with a lot of seating and space. All the rooms and facilities were clean. Two negative aspects: the WiFi didn't work very well and it was a little bit cold in the common areas.

It smells really bad everywhere (mostly in rooms) The wify all the time dropping down Come on fix it !! It is very important

We were 3 persones for one night only, but we were very nice surprised how perfect this hostel is. Since welcome of receptionist till say goodbye next day we felt there very comfortable. The room and other interiors are just new. Kitchen is fully equipped for preparation of your own meal, coffee or tea. There is big lounge for sitting with Wi-Fi, or other room with billiard. And location of hostel is such in the centre of Aviemore. Big and safe parking place. VERY RECOMMENDED to all visitors!

What a super place! Spacious, well appointed, comfortable and friendly. In a lovely setting, within decent walking distance of parks, trails, shopping, taverns and rail service. Very attractive lodge. Good staff. Super kitchen, lounge and bathrooms (but hey; push-button showers? A bit silly and annoying - until you find the one with a proper tap). This is a marvelous hostel at an appropriate price. Could use more electric outlets in the rooms. Altogether very satisfying, and I will be back!
