while it is 30 mins or so walk from the centre there are 2 major attractions, san zeno bascillica and castle vicchio on the way. You can vary the route to maximise your sight seeing. The girl who works there is lovely but doesnt speak english. They will take your passport and give it back the next day, if you dont feel comfortable with this you may want to take a photocopy and see if they accept that.

The breakfast was okay, but the 'fruit juice' was clearly the cheapest they could buy and margarine was only provided on the last day, so I couldn't eat the 'rusks' (two pieces of toast in a packet). Perhaps I should have asked for it. The coffee was sometimes only warm and the cakes were okay, but they were too sweet to eat in the morning, so I saved them to eat later in the day. All in all it is not worth having the breakfast at the B and B.

If you come from the trainstation and you want to walk; don't. Owner is friendly, he came looking for us and was very helpfull. The girl, on the other hand, doesnt speak english. That makes communication very difficult if you're not italian or spanish.NO AIRCO!The rooms looked ok, but weren't.Toothpicks from previous guests were still lying on the floor. No one cleaned during our stay for 3 days, don't walk barefoot, you'll get black feet.No toiletpaper for 24 hours. No place we would stay again.
