We loved the people we met in Ireland but these people were the worst. Wouldn't even let us have guests in our room. Way expensive for what it is. I would not recommend this to anyone. You'd rather stay at the airport than here.

Avondale needs a makeover. The rooms are very old and musty with visible mold around the windows. With so many hotels, hostels and B&Bs in Ireland to choose from, Avondale needs to bring their facility up to modern standards. I do not plan on staying there again.

It was the cheapest hostel on the website, the staff was really nice the ladies from the kitchen, but in the room it was really dirty, with mould, dust, the curtains were disgusting, the carpet was repugnant, it's not the staff fault it's because the hostel is dilapidated, huge difference !!!
