I don't think we could've stayed any place better in Puno! It was not far from the city center and there's a great view from the roof. The best part of it was Luz who was extremely helpful and really friendly! We suffered from altitude sickness and she helped us so much and always asked how we were doing. The only slight downside was the room was cold except in the afternoon when the sun was shining into it. And the bathroom was cold during showers. But that's normal in Peru I guess.

Quite far from the heart of Puno! its a long, up hill 6 blocks. Get a taxi otherwise you will never find it. The street didn't come up on 3 of our maps and its far from the bus station. Taxi only cost 4 soles. The hostel was simple and the owner woke up at 5am to make us breakfast before we had to leave. We were the only ones there so the shared bathroom was private. Roof is open (like much of peru) so bring warm layers for sleeping.
