I have to say that Zelinda was really nice and very helpful for us! We were simply amazed by her atittude, because she didn't refuse to any of our requests :) Location was perfect for us - just in the middle between bus station and oldtown, so there was no problem getting to the place with luggage and on the other hand we had really short walk (8 minutes?) to the city center. During our stay the place was completely clean, nothing to complain on.We definitely recommend Zelinda's Guesthouse ;)

We stayed just one night in Lagos but we had a very positive impression from the Guesthouse. There's a fully equiped kitchen, a common room and a (shared) bathroom at your disposition. The Guesthouse is located in the third floor from where you can enjoy a nice view. The facilities were very clean and in a good condition. Furthermore Azelinda, the manager, is very helpful and attentive. The Guesthouse is very well located, you reach the centre easily by feet. We would highly recommend a stay!

We really enjoyed the nice terrace on the roof, wheter for breakfast, diner or for the evening, it was perfect. The two hosts were very kind and helpful. The only glitch was that it was really hot in our bedroom. But the room is very comfortable and the place is very clean! Thank you for the stay! I recommend this place :)

Great quiet place to stay in Lagos. Zelinda was such a lovely host and really looked after us. This accomadation is very good value for money! Would definitely stay there again if I return to lagos. The hot water was a little bit temperamental but that is the only thing I can fault! Loved my stay here!

Location is near the city centre. The guesthouse wasn`t clean enough: kitchen (also few facilities in the kitchen), bedroom, towels, bathroom,... There is a terrace on the roof, but there is no shadow. It could be better for this price.

Azelinda was a wonderful host. Her place has a beautiful view and is best for couples or families so if you are young and like to party it is not the place for you. The house was hard to find but worth the journey. If you are walking up from the train station, the signage is about 20 meters at the top of the building so keep your eyes to the skies. It's on the left hand side and up 4 sets of ramps. We had to ask the locals but everybody seems to know where it is. Nice quite stay in Lagos

The bed was comfortable and te guest house only had one other room. The kitchen was well equipped and large bathroom. Good location and beautiful view over Lagos and the ocean. Quiet and comfortable. Azelinda was a brilliant host, on site and able to answer any questions promptly. Would definitely recommend.

Cute, small house with a small kitchen and a lovely terrasse on the roof. The location is great and the owners, two sisters, are lovely people! The only downside was that our private bathroom did not have a door and we were not allowed to use the other bathroom in the house. Apart from that, everything else was fine! The house was cleaned daily, and the ladies of the house were super friendly. The house is not easy to find but when we called the owner she was very helpful, even at 3am!

Azelindas Guesthouse is a good - but average house in Portugal. It´s located well - near the center and the sea but the direct environment isn´t that well. Also the kitchen and the bathroom are "aged" and not up to date. Cleartext: we wouldn´t use some things in the kitchen - also some things in the bathroom were rusty. All in all - a fair price - but not that well als many people wrote some years ago.. sit seems that Azelindas guesthouse is aged since the last years...!

The guest house was great. Zelinda and her sister have a few, we were in building 1A in the front room which had a private bathroom. At first hard to find however the locals were more than happy to help and walked us right up to it. The location is fantastic, just outside the town and 10 mins to the beach The place was clean and Zelindas sister cleaned the communal kitchen every morning Zelinda was helpful in telling us where to go Would definitely go back

There was a wonderful hostess who looked after everything. The guest house is only a 7 minutes walk from the centre. Would recommend it. Especially as it has cooking facilities, although the hob takes a while to heat.

We loved everything about Azelinda´s! She is the kindest, sweetest lady with such a clean & cute apartment that was perfect for our stay. Definitely above and beyond any other hostel I have been to and still way cheaper! She gave us great recommendations and was also so fun to chat with. If I am ever back in Lagos, I would definitely come to Azelinda´s again (even though the shower was cold - maybe there was just a malfunction for our stay).

Azelinda was a fantastic host and treated us like we were members of our family. She gave great recommendations and even did a load of laundry for us. If you are looking to party in Lagos, this is not the place to stay, however if you would like to have a relaxed retreat, I would recommend Azelinda.
