Even tough the location is not perfect (10 minutes to the beginning of the city center) it is worth staying in that hostel. The staff is really friendly, breakfast is delicious (every morning they cook something special for the travalers), the atmosphere is really nice with a big table in the living room and a nice garden where travellers can get to know each other. I would definitely stay there again.

I've really enjoyed my stay at Azul Cielo. It's a lovely hostel, with a great common area and pretty garden space. The atmosphere is social and friendly, but not crazy - it's often very peaceful. I've met lots of nice and interesting people here and would recommend it to anyone! The whole hostel is cleaned throughly every day, and the breakfast is good.

Azul cielo was really beautiful, it's pretty quiet and feels like more of a bed and breakfast than a hostel.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. A shout out to Pepe who was super friendly and approachable. The room isn't very new but it suffices!

all in all pretty good and clean. Staff are very helpful. My only issue was regarding the Bathrooms that have entries through the garden, making it very cold to shower at night. They also have those cowboy moving doors that don´t shut completely, making it hard for a person to change in the bathroom.

It is a very cozy Hostel in a safe area. The room had standard Equipment and it was just a 10 Minute Walk to the City center. We would recommend to stay here..

Decent hostel, well-tailored to backpackers. Plenty of common spaces to chill out, very good breakfast included and staff have loads of information about tours etc in local area. Oaxaca is a great place and this hostel matches its vibe really well. Only negative - cold shower!

Lovely hostel with some beautiful features and thoughtful little details. Great breakfast included in the price. Friendly and helpful staff who speak both Spanish and English. Great place to meet and chat with other travellers over breakfast. Reasonable walking distance from bus terminal and zocalo area. Would definitely recommend :)

My stay was short, but the location is great and it was easy to find. The beds are comfortable and the staff are very nice. :)

Awesome outside area for socializing, however there were not many people there willing to socialize. 10 min walk to downtown.

Really lovely hostel with a good mix of people (some gap year backpackers, some maturer couples and everything in between). Lovely relaxed communal areas! Staff were helpful and breakfast was great. A couple of small recommendations though...almost every morning there seemed to be people arriving around 7am and would ring the doorbell until staff let them in when reception opened at 8 - maybe open reception earlier? Also everyone was queued for breakfast at 8.30 - maybe start it earlier too?
