An average hotel with a nice, clean bathroom and enough space to fit all our stuff in. The staff ranged from nice and helpful to unfriendly. However, the only really bad thing to say about it is that you have to pay extra for food. This was definitely the biggest room we have stayed in so far. We were given one king size bed and a pull out couch, one really excellent and one not so much. They were under construction which was very evident, but the staff was so friendly and helpful (they ordered us pizza!) and the location was hard to beat (right out of Mirabell Gardens). This is a nice hotel with good quality rooms at affordable prices. The main downside is that it is midway between the main train station and the central tourist area so you aren't really close to either. It is only 10 minutes walk into town though, and about 6-7 euros for a taxi from the train station. I'm glad we didn't try to walk from the train station - we would have got lost, and the taxi isn't bad value between two. If you're looking for a good value hotel room, I'd recommend it.This is a nice hotel with good quality rooms at affordable prices. Loved my stay, small but very cozy, clean room overlooking city. Was a bit of a walk to Old Town, but close to gardens, and very convenient from train station. Great location - walking distance of Mirabell Gardens. Free internet in the lobby. There was a farmers market/street market just down the street on the way to Mirabell Gardens the 1st day we arrived - Thursday. We wanted to come back the next day but found out the market is only once a week so keep this in mind! We took a taxi from the train station to Hotel Vier - walking was too far. Taxi was 5-6 euros. Would stay here again.Great location - walking distance of Mirabell Gardens. Free internet in the lobby. The hotel was very nice, neat, small, and has a very good location just a few blocks from the Mirabell Gardens. The breakfast was good but not worth the 8 euros if you are not a big breakfast eater. The hotel was very nice, neat, small, and has a very good location just a few blocks from the Mirabell Gardens. The staff were extremely helpful! Although my wake-up call did not occur in the morning, they were so helpful in expediting my check-out and spoke to the taxi driver (in German) to ensure that I arrived to the airport on time. This is my second time visiting this hotel. As always, the staff is helpful and friendly. Greatly enjoyed staying on the top floor with the nice cross breeze. Very loud at night because of locals at a cafe outside the windows. Didn't get much sleep and when we went to the night staff they said deal with it. Day staff much more helpful though...Very loud at night because of locals at a cafe outside the windows. Didn't get much sleep and when we went to the night staff they said deal with it.
