Our stay was fantastic! The B&B was in the rialto area, very close to the bridge. The staff was very helpful when we called them not knowing how to get there from the bus station. Breakfast was included, which was a definite plus! We would definitely go back!

The staff was extremely friendly and offered to hold our luggage the next day after check out in case our trains ran later than check out. They were also very helpful.

Everything about the hostel was great....except I woke up in the morning with 25+ bed bug bites all over my body.

Reading other reviews, I was hesitant about our stay at Lion Morosini. However, as a group of students visiting Venice for two days, the bed & breakfast couldn't have been a better option. While I will consent to the existence of a bar downstairs, I was not disturbed by the noise, and there are a significant amount of stairs to access the bedrooms, there were no real problems with the hotel itself. The place was very clean and for the price had very grand rooms. It was just what we wanted!

The website (hostelworld.com) allowed us to reserve place for 2 people in a 4-bed room, so we though that it worked like a dormitory - that two other random people would come and therefore that we would be giving less money if we stayed in a bigger room. But we ended up paying for 4 people just for the two of us! The website should clearly state that it does not work like this.
