Very well location, at old part of Palermo. Very quiet hostel for this city. If somebody is not familiar with old Palermo climate, neighborhood could looks frightfully. Equipment in kitchen available to use like: fridge, kettle, toaster. Coffee, tee, biscuits, jam for breakfast included

The street leading to the hostel looks really bad and scary but and the acces to all attractions in the city is good. The rooms are really nice and clean. The breakfast is self service and very basic. Great value for the price.

It was a great flat, Ruggero was very friendly and helpful. There's a lot of noise from the street on Fri/Sat nights when they turn into a street party - great if you like to party! There are markets and pubs close by as well. Ruggero was installing Wifi in May 2013 when we stayed there but it wasn't working yet.

What was advertised on HostelWorld was not the place we stayed. It was cheap, yes, but the location felt unsafe and we were taken back by the appearance once we walked in. Our host was a nice guy which made our stay slightly better, however, throughout the night it was very noisy and heard the tenants above us yelling until midnight. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay and do not care much for cleanliness, I would recommend this. If not, spend the extra 10 euro and stay somewhere nicer.

Staff was helpful, the host gave us a tourist map of Palermos center and showed us what should we see. The enter of the building is on a street next to garage ;), but after main gate is ok. We got 2 rooms with doublebeds. These two rooms have access to shared kitchen and bathroom. The place is located in an old tenement house. The localisation is good for sightseeing by foot. For this price is good value for money).

We had a nice stay in B&B Al capitello! The room was absolutely convenient and we loved the small balcony on which we could enjoy the morning sun. The kitchen had everything you need. The breakfast was simple but sufficient. The only bad thing about this place is that it is quite noisy during the night because there are lots of bars around... so if you don't plan to do party till 5 in the morning you should definetly bring some ear plugs to find some sleep!

Right in the centre of old Palermo, our room overlooked the street which throbbed with life. The breakfast was self service and poor, the kitchen in which we were to eat was dismal. However everything worked and the location was superb, Ruggero our host was cheerful and willing to be helpful.

The hostel was in a great position in the old town and also close to the harbour.there was a supermarket close by too. The owner Ruggero could not have been more helpful, he gave us a city map which was essential and pointed out various places of interest. There was a kettle and toaster and coffee machine, he left us bread, jam, cakes, tea bags etc for making breakfast. There were even umbrellas provided which proved essential on our first day. All in all, fantastic value and location.

Overall, this was a decent place to stay. The first night I got there, I was pretty creeped out, as it is located in a dark, narrow alley way. It is small, with only two guest rooms, but there is plenty of space and a kitchen for guests' use. It is in a good location near the center of town and near the water.

I could have been awesome. The room are excelent, the space is big, the kichen is good and the toillet too. I really miss internet. The bad part... I hate when people treat me as a fool. They tell you there is breakfast included, I should soot then... There is no break, no butter, nothing but tee (one option) and old coffe. The place is good but I would come bback.
