Really nice time in there, excellent service and good value.

I had never thought I was going to see such a good hostel. It may be the best hostel I've ever stayed and will ever stay. The furnitures were all brand new. It was clean as well.

We stayed here for three nights and we really loved it. All rooms were clean and fresh restored (spring 2013). It is really close to Sant Marco's place. So you can really enjoy venice before the mob of daytourists flush through the streets. We will come again!!

This is not a hostel/B&B for 1st timers to Venice. Someone is there to meet you when you arrive, shows you the flat then gives you a map, ask if you have any question, then that’s it. There is a kitchen, but you can’t use it. Venice is a hard place to navigate and if this is your first time in Venice stay at a hostel. If you know Venice a bit and want a quiet weekend away, it’s perfect. Clean, nice location and simple breakfast.

Very nice place and the owner is helpful and sweet :) The breakfast and the kitchen is excellent! Share bathroom is not the main problem as the bathroom is tidy and clean. The location is good and near San Marco. I will stay at B&B Antica Riva again !

The owners of this B&B were lovely & extremely helpful! The directions that were provided were easy to follow & in detail, it made arriving into Venice very easy! The room was lovely & clean. Even with other guests staying in the B&B we felt like the only ones staying. It was very private. The breakfast was very nice and the location was amazing. I would definately stay at this B&B again and have already recommended it to friends who have also booked!

We stayed at BB Antica Riva for 3 nights. We loved our stay here and it had perfect location. It was very close to shops, restaurants, St Marks square and the Vaperetto. The B&B is very modern and very clean. You have free wifi, access to a fridge and great heating (we stayed it winter when it was freezing so heating was very important). You have a safe and can lock your individual room which is great. The continental breakfast is re-stocked every day and the owner does your dishes each morning.

Very nice place to stay and such a good location. Wifi and breakfast are a good bonus, rooms are separate with the only negative being the second bathroom and having to hold the shower head. Would happily stay again!

Great place to stay - very clean, great location, owners very friendly and helpful, especially in terms of directions! Would highly recommend staying at Antica Riva.

Needed city maps for the guests, all other hostels offered maps.

SO AMAZING ! Loved everything about the place. Felt like we had an apartment to ourselves for the weekend but with extra services. Amazing staff.
