The staff was nice enough. We liked that this place was close to the train station, but it definitely isnt in the nice part of town. My only complaint was that this place was filthy. It looked like they hadnt cleaned the shower in years. A clean curtain would have been nice.

Way too expensive for that kind of comfort! The breakfast was almost non-existent. The room was stinky, and the shower cabin did not function at all. After talking to the host - we were told that this problem is because of cockroaches in the plumbing?! But he did not even try to fix it. The area close to the hostel was very dirty, and even dangerous. We had to escape Naples after 1 night of stay just because of such "comfort", which is a pity, of course, cause the city is amazing!

The location is bad, but the hostel was amazingly good, incredible place is a very poor location.

The double private room was amazing, on the top floor of a building overlooking the main street of Riomaggiore. The place is well kept and the bathroom spacious and clean. It is a bit of an uphill walk to get to the place, but to be honest that's what you should expect in such a small costal town. This was definitely my favourite place to stay in my time travelling throughout Italy. The staff were also very friendly, understanding and helpful. Highly recommended to anyone.

Neighborhood was very unsafety and messy. B&B was hard to find. There was four keys for doors and they were hard to use. Room looked uncleaned. Location was near to the railwaystation but far from the citycentral.

We had two nights here and had a great stay. It was a little hard to find at first but once we got there it was a wee hidden gem. We read many reviews which told us not to let the street and area put you off and they were right. It's a little off putting at first but was a secure and safe place to stay. The owner was awesome and had great general knowledge and spoke great English. Would definitely stay here again. The wee pizza place down the road was fantastic value and food too

Sanjay was a lovely host and the BnB was a wonderful oasis :)

Please don't let the look of the street worry you, it is a lovely hotel inside. The neighbourhood probably isn't the best but we were just careful, didnt walk around with any valuables as we were warned about pickpockets- same as many tourist areas. Close to main train station, 5-10 minute walk. Breakfast was good, staff really take care of you, making you tea/coffee. has mini marts next door and a great pizzeria a couple of doors down, would return here for sure.
