Lovely hotel in the old quarter near many cafés, bars, shopping, and sightseeing. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and make the stay very pleasant. Very clean, comfortable and spacious rooms with TV and air conditioning. Free breakfast was great. Knowledgable travel agent on site for booking tours/transport who helped us book our Halong Bay cruise and tickets to the water puppet theatre. Can store your luggage for free while away on overnight tours-added bonus for sure. Definitely recommend.
Very nice hotel with a kind and helpful staff. Rooms are big and clean but those on the street side are a bit noisy, ask for a room in the back if you're a light sleeper. It's very centrally located, near the Hoan Kiem lake and the old city where you can get delicious street food and refreshing bia hoi.
Overall it was a great stay at B&B. The hostel located inside the Hanoi's Old Qurter so it is very easy to reach all the tourist spot by foot. But unfortunately, the bed is very hard. we stayed at the room with the city view and there were several molds at the room ceiling. Besides that, everything is great. They even helped us getting a ticket for the water puppet show after the theatre said to us that the ticket was sold out.
The staff is just amazing! They have arranged our Halong bay tour (wich was great! Take legacy cruises offre 2d/1n) and our trainticket to Hue! Rooms are fine, have all you need. Wifi acces is great. Only little downpoint is the rockhard beds, but hey: you're not in there all day! All in all great place and staff: thank you very much! You are the best!
No window in the room but it was nicely furnished. 2/3 of the beds were OK. Staff eager to help. Small breakfast but well,it's a cheap hostel.
The Hostel was brilliant, well positioned, and the staff were excellent. No complaints there. The only small nit-picky things I could mention are the cleaning service should watch out a little with the bleach... I found spots on some black clothing. Plus, the computers really need to be updated with an antivirus that is fully functional.... I acquired a few of the computer diseases via their system. Other than that. Big thumbs up !!!
Upon arriving to B&B we were greeted by Tony, the hostel owner, he is FANTASTIC. Not only did we have a wonderful stay at B&B, Tony was very helpful and knowledgeable. He helped us booked a trip to Halong Bay. B&B has a great breakfast and the room as spacious, clean, and updated. The hostel is located close to most attractions in the Old Quarter. I can't say enough great things about Tony, a quality, honest, professional owner and friend! Highly recommend!
Great place. Jimmy is the man, he remembers everything about you, even after a rendezvous at ha long bay. Kind staff. Nice array of western, eastern breakfast items. Let me use the shower when I returned even though I wasn't going to say. Easy location to night market, lake, museums. Helpful with planning trip to everywhere. Never felt like they were ripping me off.
Cannot rate this place high enough! Not only is the hotel/hostel amazing itself, the staff are so lovely and helpful. The sales manager could not have done more for my friend and I when we got ill, he took us to the pharmacy and even refunded some of our money when we had to cut our halong bay trip short. The hotel is very clean and central for everything in hanoi. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend!
The guy at reception, Tony, is a legend! One of the funniest, friendliest, and most helpful human beings I've ever met.
Cannot say enough about the staff here. Overall a great experience at a great price.

We stayed in the twin private ensuite room. The room was very big with a nice bathroom, only con is the hard bed. When we arrived we got the most warm welcome. The manager Tony and other staff were very friendly and are in my opinion an example for how it should be done. The service was excellent. We booked a nice trip to Halong Bay with the Carina cruise. If you are staying in Hanoi this is the hostel to stay in! Thanks again.

We had a great stay here, Tony and the staff were incredible! So helpful and friendly, they helped plan our onward travels and gave sound advice on all our daily outings to museums and the other sights around Hanoi. The rooms were lovely, spacious and very well maintained, and the bathrooms spotless, we even ended up extending our stay. The location was perfect too, on the doorstep of the old quarter round the corner from Hoan Kiem Lake. We'll definitely be returning!
Superb hotel, from the minute you approach the door the staff are smiling, friendly and ready to assist. Lovely room, good wifi, nice breakfasts. Ideal all around.
We really enjoyed our stay, the hotel was very nice and staff very friendly and helpful. They helped us book up your and train tickets which were very good.
Tony is the man! Nicest and funniest staff member we have met over our whole month trip in vietnam! Along with all the other staff too of course! The hostel was great, and really helpful when we emailed for help when we were in sapa after our stay at Hanoi BB, they were happy to help us with travel advice. Would definatley recommend it!

B&B Hanoi is in a fantastic location in the Old Quarter and walking distance to all the shopping area, cafes and the lake. The hostel manager Tony was really good with restaurant recommendations, helpful tips and even personally took me on his scooter to a locksmiths when I accentally locked by keys in my bag.
After reading very good reviews for the hostel, we decided to stay here for 2 nights; 2 nights turned into 3 nights, which turned into 4, this carried on until we stayed at the hostel for an entire week, we kept asking for more days! The staff are very friendly and co-operative and cater to all of your needs, not once during our stay did we here the word "no", they helped book us a trip to ha long bay, rent a motorcycle, let us store our luggage while we were away and did I mention free coffee?!
The best hostel experience ever! The staff are extremely attentive, helpful, and the place is lovely. Great location in the Old Quarter. They even let us check in at 5am after a train from Lao Cai, helped us book train and bus tickets and held our baggage while we waited. Highly recommended - thanks for everything!
