It's really a B&B, not a hostel. Rooms are big and breakfast is good, location isn't that good though.

Angelo was excellent at helping us with our sightseeing and even allowed us to store our bags when we returned to Lima at the end of our trip. This place is good for couples or people not seeking to meet fellow travellers.

This hostel was amazing! Angelo was absolutely fantastic and will help you book anything and give advice. The wifi didn{t reach the entire hostel which was the one downfall, but a very very minor thing. Breakfast was delivered to our room in the morning which was unexpected and highly appreciated!!

Place is small, but nice and clean. All the staff is very, very nice and kind. Anything you need, they try to help you. And there is Mr. Angelo, a real angel. He is prepared to help you any time of the day. He advices you what is interesting to see in Lima, places to eat , prices for meals, places where to buy things, and also prices, he would call you taxi, if bank is closed, he would borrow you some money...If I go to Lima again I'll certenlly stay at Angelo.Thank you again!

Excellent location, taxi was arranged to/from airport. Great help with tours, things to do, restaurant suggestions and holding luggage for the day while I toured Lima.

Cozy and clean with a very friendly and helpful staff. I felt like a part of the family. Angelo is an excellent guide with vast knowledge of history, geography and cultures both ancient and modern.

Very nice atmosphere. Angelo and his family are very kind people and he knows a lot about Lima and Peru so you learn a lot when you ask for directions.

I chose this hostal based on the feedback from other travellers and this is indeed a very nice hostel. The staff is always willing to help. It is a family-hostel. I wish I had more time on Lima.

This is a nice quiet B & B , It was the last 4 days of nearly 4 months of travelling for me so a nice private room was just the tonic , when I arrived I was very sick and the hosts just showed me to my room and brought me a flask of hot water and T bags and told me to ring them from the phone next to my bed if I needed anything at all . When I felt a bit better I got up and they even offered me food as I wasn't well enough to get some for myself . The host is very knowledgeable on local history

We did not encountered any difficulties with the facilities or staff. he rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean, but their wi fi service was poor. Front rooms very noisy.

I'll only add that the owner didn't respect the ammount to be paid indicated by you in the booking confirmation. Also the owner brought a couple of beers to the room courtesy and later he charged them to us.

Antonio and Norma are wonderful hosts. They provide a warm and friendly environment. They were most helpful and I felt very well looked after. It was just like staying with family. I'm so appreciative for all the advice and assistance offered.

It's a quiet place (basically someone's home), so don't expect a lot of people nor partying. Angelo, the owner, is EXTREMELY helpful and hospitable. He'll give you tips, good recommendations, and help you make reservations and plan (get you better if not same prices). This is the best hostel I've been in after traveling 5 weeks in 4 countries in South America. He'll book cabs for you that are cheaper than what you can get on your own, so definitely have him book your taxi from the airport.

My partner and I had a three night stay at B&B Traditiones and enjoyed our stay. Angelo is very helpful and will provide lots of hints and tips for getting around - his restaurant recommendations were very good. The pick up service from the airport was great. The rooms are basic and could do with a refurb but adequate. Basic breakfast is served to your room. Location is good. A 10 minute walk to the centre of Miraflores.

Stayed at this hostel twice and can't say enough good things about it! Angelo and his family make the hostel awesome with their kind, helpful approach to everything. The rooms are nice and the breakfast is great, and served to you in your room! Angelo gives you awesome suggestions on places to eat and explore and any general information you might want in the area or anywhere else in Peru. It really does feel like a home away from home, definitely go and stay there.

What a great place! Now it's not traditional poor backpacker style, so don't expect that. But what you can expect is an awesome staff, the owner knows just about everything about Peru and will help you make the rest of your trip great if you give him a few mins (and it's not that he gets kickbacks, it's just 15 years of his own and other's experiences). Be sure to take his offer on the shuttle, don't get suckered in by an airport taxi. Good rooms, great staff, great location. #Winning is right.

An outstanding welcome from the fantastic staff. The decor is a bit outdated, but well looked after and clean. The large, quiet rooms have a fan. The fantastic breakfast, which is brought to your room, was different every day. The owner was very helpful and had ideas for things we could do each day- even suggesting walking routes round the city. There is a supermarket/restaurants withing easy walking distance and it is surrounded by parks. We had a fantastic time and would gladly return.
