Alain was an incredibly thoughtful and welcoming host. He did everything he could to make us feel comfortable and we had an absolutely lovely stay. The location was perfect and easy to find and our room was very open but also cozy. Will definitely recommend this B&B and hopefully come back one day!

Alain was the most helpful staff at a hostel I have encountered in Europe. The location was amazing, close enough to everything, but still had a sense of calm. We felt safe and taken care of

Very nice stay, very good location, great wecome, thank you alain

We really enjoyed B & B Magnicifo. The staff is very friendly and give you a map with personal advice about the city. The location is great, right across the river, and it feels very homey inside. I would definitely stay here again!

The "minor free upgrade" we recieved was fantastic. Absolutely loved the larger room, and it had a fantastic view. All the facilities worked especially well. Great location and the staff were very helpful with reccomendations and everything.

We've been travelling around Europe for 3 weeks and this was by far the best hostel we stayed in. The room was clean, spacious and even had a view! The location couldn't have been better and the staff were SO kind and it felt like they would have done anything for us. I'm just sad we were only there for 3 nights. Will definitely be returning! Thank you so much.

We do recommend this BnB. Everything perfect, quiet and with a kind attention from the owner. Great discovery at 200m from Ponte Vecchio

Perfect location for walking everywhere you need to in Venice. No air conditioning but the rooms were still cool enough in August with the windows open. The kitchen and balcony area were a wonderful bonus. Would stay again!

The best B&B place I've ever stayed! The owner is extremely helpful and kind!

Thank you for being such a great host. Alain was ready to answer all our questions. The place was in a perfect location. We enjoyed our stay. It was easy to get around to see the sights. It got hot at night but the fans helped. Excellent wifi connection, very safe and clean, would definitely recommend it.

We booked a room for three and the room was spacious and clean. Alain was very friendly and accommodating, he gave us great tips about what there was to see in Florence and the best areas for what we might be interested in. The location was great - within walking distance to major attractions and in a nice neighbourhood. There is a kitchen with a fridge and free milk, also a coffee machine (no cooking facilities though). We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this B&B!

The rooms are very hot during the summer. Hard to sleep. But everything else was great!!

Alain is such a lovely host, he made everything about our stay on Florence enjoyable!! Highly recommend this B&B 👍🏼

Loved this place. However you cannot be late to check in. We were 25 minutes late due to a delayed train and could not check in until late at night (we had luggage and 4 hours to kill so this was inconvenient). The owner was very nice and gave us many recommendations. Free breakfast consisting of croissants, coffee and Nutella provided. The place was very quite and homey. Great location. We would definitely stay here again.

I think there should be no complain about the check-in. True problem was that you ignored our emails to request the arrival time. Had you answered and given us your train number, we would easily know about the train delay from internet and adjust our schedule. However, there was not a single message from you, we waited the whole day and closed at 18:30 as written on Hostelworld but we left you the chance to check in at 21:30. You only waited 2.5 hours and had meal in the meanwhile, Not Bad!

The owner and manager is extremely helpful and friendly. Due to the extreme weather conditions in Italy during our stay (excessively hot) the time spent at the B & B was very unconfortable because there is no air conditioning. We had a large room for 3 people and 2 fans, which was not enough. Also, guests should be made aware of the flights of stairs to get to the apartment, which is difficult to climb, particularly in hot conditions, for older people like my brother who is almost 70.

Alain was the sweetest and nicest person we had come across our whole trip, he gave us the whole low down on the B&B along with things to do in florence and many other helpful hints! He was very quick to respond to emails and was even so kind to book us a taxi for our early departure. I can not say enough amazing things about him and our stay here, we were VERY central in Florence and our room was ADORABLE with the most amazing view! I will stay here again.

Il Magnifico is an ideal place to stay in Florence. Right on the banks of the Arno and not far from Ponte Vecchio and the city center, the ability to walk most places is great. Alain is an incredibly gracious host that will give you a great run down of the hostel as well as what to do and see in Florence and how to find some great local spots to eat. The hostel itself is a enjoyable place to stay. Going out the door to the right you'll find a park just up the street with a great outdoor bar.

Great Location!! No AC but the building is built in a way that it is cooler, which was helpful for the 100 degree weather we experienced.

Alex is the kindest, most welcoming, and by far the most helpful host I have had for any hostel I've been to. He gave us a detailed description of the area and showed us places to go for sight seeing or for restaurants that will give you great food but save you money. If you're looking for a comfortable, homey environment when you're traveling then be sure to stay here!

Great place in Florence if you can get it.
