This hostel was awesome. The owner was extremely helpful with ideas of what to do during our stay, and the place was spotless. He even came to help us out when we broke a key in the door. Awesome hostel experience.

Our stay at the B&B has truely been "magnifico". Great hosts, and a value for money difficult to be topped. Thanks so much to Alain and Leticia!

Great b&b -- spacious rooms, own bathroom, nice terrace. Only issue is there is no lift so if you have a lot of luggage prepare to drag it up! Well worth it though, excellent location and great hosts.

Great place to stay in Florence!

Great staff that give you a detailed briefing about the city, point out places on the city map and are always reachable on their cell phone or via e-mail. Free WIFI and free colour print outs. Free bottle of red wine as a welcoming gift. Full tray of little snacks, good for a quick brekkie. Flatscreen TV and stereo in the room. Ensuite bathroom not (always?) ensuite but still fully private, so that's ok. All in all a great place!

Great location - across the river from the Uffizi, which means it's on the non-touristy side but still easy to walk to all the important sights. Letizia and Alan are great - very friendly, helpful, great - gave us lots of suggestions of what to see and do. Every morning, room was cleaned and breakfast refilled. Clean and spacious rooms, quiet and comfortable B&B. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Florence.

We loved staying here, and will happily return any time we are in Florence!! Our lovely huge room had a bottle of wine waiting for us, and couldn't have been more comfy!! Alan & his wife were amazing, they came great tips on where to go, where to eat, and how to get around. They even made us fresh squeezed grapefruit juice! if you want to visit Florence, this is the only place to stay!!

Amazing location and friendly staff!!! Our room was very clean everyday and breakfast was a great addition! The staff was very helpful. I felt very safe.

The host where excellent and the location is excellent for easy access to all shopping and main streets.

This is an amazing B&B, and the owners are incredibly nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this place again, as it provides great value, clean facilities, spacious rooms, and a good location.

Perfect location to explore Firenze, very clean and confortable. Il Magnifico also has the best staff I ever met in a Bed and Breakfast, very professional and very nice.

The best hostel I have ever stayed in. South side of the river Arno with a garden view and the view of the duomo. It's right next to all the good restaurants in Florence. The owners were very helpful and recommended some good places to visit. There's also a espresso machine which is always a plus. We ended up staying there for one more night and the owners helped us to arrange it out. Stay here!!!!! Highly recommended!!!

Since days after I booked, the very kind Chineese couple that runs the B&B already showed to be very helpful, sending emails with extremely useful information not only about florence but about Italy in general. When we arrived, Alain surprised us receiving us talking in portugueese and explaining everything about the city. The cheap places to eat, the main monuments, the places to get a beer at night, the Brazilian restaurants, in case we suffered of abstinance of Blach beans and Picanha...

Excellent location overlooking the river and with views of the city. Letizia and Allen who run the bed and breakfast were very helpful. They gave us maps and good tips. Our four person room was very big and extremely clean. We stayed there 3 nights and it was perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

This is probably the best hostel we've stayed in by far. Alain and Letizia were amazing hosts, very thorough with their directions and orientation within the city, very knowledgable of different languages (they speak like, 5 each!), and they made us feel like we were the only guests. The room was very clean and well kept, comfortable bed, and more than adequate bathroom size and space, and good breakfast/cappuccino in the morning. An absolute great value for the money!

We had a great time at the B&B Il Magnifico. The owners were very hospitable and gave us a thorough introduction to Florence, including the less-touristy side. The hostel has a great location, about 5-15 minutes from all the major sites in Florence. Everything was super clean, and breakfast included unlimited tea and coffee. Would definitely stay here again.

Without a doubt the best "hostel" I've ever stayed in! The couple that run il magnifico are lovely and welcoming and very much aim to please. The vibe is inviting and the space is beautiful. Small breakfast every morning in your room and a fantastic espresso maker to use at your disposal. Very clean and worth every cent!

Alain and Letizia were absolutely wonderful and accommodating. Our room was just lovely, and we had everything we could have asked for--from free wifi to extra blankets to recommendations of places to go/see/eat. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine! The location was perfect--about a 3 minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio, and 10-15 minutes from everything else important. It's also not that expensive for what you get. I would definitely stay there again if/when I return to Florence.
