We actually loved staying on Lido instead of on Venice. It's only a 10 min boat ride to Venice, but Venice is packed with throngs of tourists, whereas Lido was quiet, peaceful, safe and above all very beautiful. It made a wonderful haven to come back to in the evening. The owner was very sweet and helpful. You can't cook here, but to save money we bought some simple items from the local grocery store and stored them in the fridge for dinner.

Comfortable room, excellent service and a good serving of breakfast. Received more value than what I paid for. Highly recommended.

Sweet and tucked away on the lovely island of Lido, the B&B Livia Oliva is the perfect getaway. The Hostess is very accommodating and gives great directions. Breakfast is simple, Biscuits tea, cakes and assorted jams. The rooms are clean and the common areas are friendly and cozy. Olivia speaks English well but is able to joke and enjoy speaking Spanish with you more, so if you habla español this B&B is a perfect place to stay.

Loved the location on the island just outside the Venice mainland. Really nice base from which to go and explore without being too entangled with the heavy tourism when in want of some relaxation. Really nice welcome and room. Only thing that would have been nice is a cooker to make some inexpensive meals after returning back. Apart from that perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay at Liva Olivia. Olivia is a very dedicated and hard working host. It was nice to have the use of the kitchen. The location might not be ideal for being in Venice but we found it was a nice escape from the busy center and the island of Lido is a great place to check out. Would gladly stay here again.

B&B Livia Oliva is a lovely place to stay. It has a cozy atmosphere and Livia is really nice. Besides, it is near the beach which won't take more than 10 minutes walk from the hostel.

The B&B was great! It was very nice to stay in a place outside of the crowded Venice, yet so close to the city as well. The island itself is very nice and the B&B really felt like a home. I will absolutely want to stay again the next time I visit the area!

B&B livia Olivia is really awesome. This is the most comfortable and clean B&B I have ever been to. Mrs. Olivia is also a quite nice and kind lady. The location is also convenient to Venice center, only about 20 mins boat. Strongly recommended.

price is good for Venice, bit must factor in vaporetto costs to Lido. It was winter when we stayed and freezing but can imagine that Lido would be a nice place to stay away from the crowds in Venice in Summer. Facilities were minimal, no Internet and kitchen is only a microwave. Breakfast was ok but could do with some improvement. overall stay was reasonably good but not excellent.

A delightful place out of the way of the cramped center of Venice. It takes awhile to get out there on the waterbus, but you'll see the whole Grand Canal on your way--great for taking photos! Olivia keeps the place nice and tidy, providing a light yet satisfactory breakfast. Her English is sufficient to give you directions and other help you may need. I would definitely stay here again.

Olivia makes FABULOUS breakfast!! The house was lovely, the only downside was there's no wi-fi. It's not on the main island, but Lido is a quiet place to stay at. LOVE IT!.

Great place to stay. The lido island isnt the best for winter but its really good. The owner of the place is really kind and speaks many languages. There is a microwave, dishes and coffee/tea/etc to use at any time and the owner makes the breakfast every morning. Its a house with many rooms turned into a hotel (which we like, particularly because it felt warmer than a simple hotel room). The downside is the shared bathroom (but our room had its own shower, etc. we only need to use the shared wc)
