B&B Nonna Clara was an awesome stopping point for our group of four. Through user error and Google maps we got so lost and Alexander actually drove out to get us and took us back to the B&B. It's funny because the building is actually really close to a metro stop. And it's only a half an hour ride into the center of Rome. The rooms are bathrooms were so clean and the dining area is such a lovely room to hang out in. As are the little balconies! My group loved staying here!

Kitchen was locked one day even though we were told we could use the fridge and WiFi was not working the same day either. It is a quiet neighborhood but it is pretty isolated and away from the city. The front door is really not secure enough. The room was spacious and had AC, which is a great thing to have in 30 degree days. The host was really helpful and nice. The breakfast isn't the best you can get, but it is something, there's some cereal and some croissants.

Easily the worst hostel that I "stayed" in during our trip. We arrived in Italy to find that the public transit was on strike, with only cabs available. After taking a cab ride that cost north of 30 euros, we arrive to a run-down apartment building, where our "hostel" is on the third or fourth floor. Horrible conditions, in a horrible area. We immediately decided to look for other accommodations, paying for an unused night was a lot better than risking the stay there. Would not recommend at all

It's a nice apartment, but needs a little renovating (mainly just the doors because they're very old and they are loud), it has mostly just those old power plugs that you can't plug your regular european laptop in. Main concern - no trashcans in rooms. I had to walk to the bathroom or dining room to throw away our trash and it was annoying. The fact that it's far from the city didn't bother me because we loved that after sightseeing we could go relax in a quiet part of town.

Good for one night. Any longer I would rather pay more and stay elsewhere as although the rates are cheap they have extra costs such as 5 euro to use the kitchen and travel expenses as it is far from central Rome. The area has no real atmosphere or good bars or restaurants.

The rooms were relatively clean and spacious at first sight, but after walking barefoot the bottom of our feet were black. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was well below average consisting of a dry packet croissant, cereal and dry cake, no fruit or source of protein in sight. I feed my pets better It takes about an hour to get anywhere. There is a kitchen but at a cost of 5€ everytime you use it you might as well go to a 5 star restaurant for food. The staff are perpetually absent

They go really out of their way to make you feel welcome. The breakfast was great. The place was very clean. One thing you can complain about is location, but still - it's very close to metro station, so getting to city centre lasts not more than 40 minutes. I would definitely recommend this apartment.
