B&B Porta Carlo V Reviews

I was attacked twice by the dog. For breakfast, I was given a yoghurt which was 5 days past its expiration date, and nothing else. When I asked for bread, I was given one hard, stale, leftover piece. Both days, I had to wait for someone to agree to turn on the hot water. I was corrected twice on my pronunciation of the work "thanks," told that my body language was defensive, and asked if I was a homosexual. The room, on the other hand, was immaculately clean and extremely comfortable.

Excellent location! Warm and friendly host. Perfect venue/accomodation for travellers who prefer B&B with a hostel mentality.

Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the city and the room with direct views of Mount Etna were really fascinating.

This was a very pleasant B&B in a family home. It included use of a kitchen area for preparing light suppers, packed lunches etc. It is up a number of flights of stairs - no lift - but lovely view of Mnt Etna and the town from window. (It was v difficult to find in the dark as no sign up o/side!)
