Host provides fantastic authentic Italian breakfast & the views through the mountains towards the sea are beautiful. Great stay for a provincial/ less-touristy experience as it is not too far from amazing San Fruttuoso, but expect to allow 1.5-2 hrs travel via public transport to reach Cinque Terre. Felt unwelcome as host was very unhelpful&angry when we didn't know to empty a water reservoir in the dryer (&our clothes wouldn't dry also as it was rainy overnight), even tho we asked for help.

Loved this hostel, just didn't realize how far it was from the city of portofino. Really easy to make new friends, absolutley stunning views. Wifi didn't work inside the rooms, but I survived! Great first hostel experience overall.

Great host and location. Sonia made me a special breakfast for my early departure.
