On paper this place seems fine but I would never recommend it. The staff is extremely unfriendly and unhelpful, ruining the entire experience. My friends and I were repeatedly yelled at by the woman in charge for doing extremely minimal things like going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Once again, I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Mean staff

The BnB's location is very good. It is easy to locate and near vaporetto station. Rooms are clean and they provide towels as well. The only negative point is that they do not have lifts and you have to carry your luggage to 2 floor.

Staying in 6 different places in Italy recently - I will return to all of them, but certainly never again will at the Santa Sofia. And it boiled down to the staff, not the owner, of the Santa Sofia, and too many people / rooms for the single bathroom/toilet

Really Great place! A little difficult to find, but we were only lost for about 30 seconds! Everyone around the area is very helpful, and we were able to locate it fine! Really great place, breakfast in bed, super clean, friendly and tidy/well maintained. Very central location to Rialto Bridge, we walked every where and this place was perfect for that! Would definitely come back!

It was really nice and small b&b with only 3 rooms. It is easy to reach if u take the water bus from the center train station. however the small roads of venice need some getting used to. The breakfast and the owner of the hostel were really nice.. would recommend to stay here..

The most friendly staff ever! The only down side is it is not for someone if you are looking to meet new people at the hostel. It is much more private, which was perfect for me. Location is great and again, the staff was just amazing! And very clean.
