Had a really lovely stay here, great host - keen to advise us on the best places to go and ensured we had a good visit. However the area is very quiet and maybe not one for backpackers as its quite difficult to navigate the area without a car. Still had a good time, thanks Luisa!

We had a wonderful time at this b&b. The owner was very nice and the facilities were clean. The breakfast was great with a little buffet and the kitchen had everything we needed. Very convenient with a car, only 5 minute drive to Assisi.

The woman who owns this B&B is just the sweetest thing ever. The B&B is very nice and clean; safe and private. Only small complaint is that it is a little out of the way but it is a short walk from the Bastia train station so you can hop on to Assisi or wherever you may be headed. Great value for the price.

It is a lady's house prepared to receive guests. It was all great. The lady and her family were super nice and made us all feel at home. we had a place to leave the car next to the house, and we were given the house's keys to come back at whatever time we wished. The breakfast was amazing, with lots of home made food. We loved it!

Our stay at B&B The Rainbow was excellent. Mrs. Cinanni was an extremely gracious hostess, and she went out of her way to make us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious, as was the coffee, and Mrs. Cinanni prepared them both around our schedule. I would greatly recommend B&B The Rainbow to anyone traveling to Assisi!

The owner was extremely welcoming and accommodating. There was a TV room and large family kitchen/dining area. The rooms were large and well furnished. There were towels, shampoo and soap! Locationwise, it is further from Assisi below the hill than we expected, but a bus will take you directly to the top of the hill in the morning in 5 minutes. However it is very clean and comfortable. Our room had a private balcony and a couch and 4 ceiling height closets. Definitely worth the money!

Delightful B&B. Owner is a charming lady who takes good care of her rooms and guests. Will definitely recommend this location to any friends and family taking a trip to this area.

The hostel and the hostess were very nice. We were very satisfied by everything - location, hospitality and breakfast. I recommend this b & b to everyone. I think this is a very good location to visit Asissi and surrounding locations. It is easy to find (if you use google maps), it is 10 min by train to Asissi. I think it is better getting a bed somwhere outside Asissi, because it is cheaper and finding the location itself is very hard in Asissi, due to the many small and steep streets.

A lovely family run bed and breakfast located in a quaint town just outside of Assisi. I recommend you hire the bikes (free of charge) and cycle the 'green route' along the river into Assisi. A stunning location. The family really go out of their way to make you feel at home here. Small yet sociable and friendly, its definitely one of the best hostels we stayed in Italy!

The best hostel in which I have ever been. Everything is "excellent", only the category "location" is "good". It means that the hostel is not in Assisi. But Bastia Umbra is ideal as a starting point for exploring the whole region. It is near the highway (but there's no noise) and there are trains. Thank you.

This new B & B is a gem...affordable, gorgeous, great location (only a 10 minute walk from the bus station). But, above all, what makes this place special is Lousia (owner/manager) and her family who go out of their way to make you feel at home and welcomed! Other perks include a huge, gorgeous, fully furnished kitchen, great living space with television and couch and beautiful balconies and patio.

Very cute bed and breakfast with a really sweet owner. She went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The biggest "down" part was that she accepts only cash right now. It was a great experience though with a very "homey" feel!

If you are looking for a friendly, cheap, clean b&b not far from Assisi look no further. Luisa made it feel like home from home and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely spacious room and great breakfast. As soon as we arrived we decided to double the length of our stay! Hope to return soon :)
