a lot of dust in the room... it was very noisy and impossible to sleep in the room due to the noise outside.
When we arrived the guy on reception spent ages on the phone eventually pausing to give us a key. No explanation/introduction etc. The single beds seemed super narrow although we had been in single beds all week. The room was basic, a bit drab and depressing. It was stuffy even in November but the balcony door opened straight onto a very busy road with heavy traffic day and night. It was cheap but I expected a hostel and this had none of the information or atmosphere. Was a bad motel/ b b.
The staffs are so kind and helpful. We had a bad day in Milan and felt so happy to stay in B&B Villa Melchiorre after the whole day. Our room was upgraded to be one with private bathroom, we were really happy about that. The hostel is clean with nice interior design. It's about 10 minutes walk to the metro station which is only one station to the central station, quite convenient. The only thing that may improve is the shower. We needed to wait for 5 minutes before having hot water.
There was only one blanket for in a room with three beds, and staff would not give us two more. Breakfast: the coffe run out and was not refilled, and breakfast was terrible
