BIO HAUS Cioran is an eco-friendly family-run, full boarding pension, situated in the Hartibaci Valley in the village of Nucet.
Only 20 km drive from Sibiu, a European capital of culture in 2007, you will find our pension on the outskirts of Nucet, a small Transylvanian village in an area surrounded by splendid wild hills and forests.
Your hosts the Corian family look forward to welcoming you to their pension, where they will do their utmost to help their guests. On request, we provide breakfast, lunch and dinner, prepared with fresh ingredients from their own farm, based on traditional home-made recipes including home-made bread and pastries.
Our guests:
- can enjoy eco-tours, discovering the wild beauty of Natura 2000 reservations (on the valleys of Hartibach or Tarnava Mare);
- experience a century-old history visiting some of the 200 Saxon fortified churches;
- participate in organised tours to historic sites,including UNESCO acknowledged monuments (Biertan, Valea Viilor, Dealu Frumos);
- or simply get a taste of the every day life of local people (animal feeding, gardening, cartridge riding, baking and cooking, handicrafts).
