Normal guest house. Just stayed one night. The bad point was that the fan in the room wasn't enough for the Bkk summer.

You get what you pay for....it is safe secure, easy to get a taxi to the airport without the hassle of Khoisan road, close to several food places, good WiFi and friendly helpful staff. The rooms are basic and nothing fancy and be prepared for a walk up several flights if you're on the 3rd floor. Cheap and cheerful so no complaints from Us at all. Don't stay here if you want nights out and lively people (for that go to kho San road) it is good for quiet nights and airport transport

This hostel is a good value for money...just keep in mind how much you pay ! We stayed there for 3 nights. We had booked the standard double bed. It is exactly like in the picture : the bed fits right in the room, and it is all that is present in the room. The owner helped us find the place on the night we got there and was welcoming. Lumphini is also a good place to stay if you are not interested in the craziness of Khao San Road : it is near a very pretty park, near the sky train.
