It was a fine hostel, you got bed and breakfast (but it was not that good), you needed to pay for everything including WiFi extra which they did communicate before but yeah.. Still Not nice. The beds were nice, the location was nice and the security was very good so still a pretty fine hostel.

Everything is great except the bathrooms are horrible. Also nighttime worker, older man, is very intense and not welcoming. He was rude to me for simply asking questions. Rooms, other staff, breakfast, and common are are great.

The staff are really great. There is no security, there is no lockers for your bags in the room, and the baggage room anyone can enter at anytime without a key. The location was pretty good a short tram ride away from wherever you need to go. Atmosphere was alright some people staying the nights we were seemed sketchy and very noisy. Rooms and common area are clean. The bathrooms are absolutely repulsive, doors mouldings, hair allover, flooding showers. Lastly no facility options.

This hostel was exactly what I thought it was going to be. Really good value for the money, and it's on a super quiet street. The breakfast in the morning is mainly baguettes and cereal, with coffee/juice. The wifi is fine, only €2, and you can buy towels here for €5. Rooms are fine, there's one outlet for each bed, so be strategic when charging your devices! Check-in is 2:30 and they have a baggage room to leave things in if you come early! Overall would stay again!

The breakfast was great, and the rooms were clean. The bathrooms were quite disgusting, especially the showers; moody, cracking wooden doors. This was supposed to be an 18+ hostel but a class of high school students stayed there. Good part of the city but I will stay elsewhere next time I am in Paris.

Weirdest hostel I have stayed in. Location is perfect but the place is too mean to have toilet seats or soap in the dispensers and the doors were so close to the toilet you can't help have to up against the toilet bowl to be able to close the door. I felt like I was in a germ pit. Breakfast above standard and free. Girl at the front reception was very nice and helpful. If you are trying to find it when you get there, it's the big blue door as there is no sign and door is kept close.

Overall really great: my only complaints is that you have to pay for wifi, and the restrooms and showers should be cleaned more often.

Thanks for the great stay in the 1st historicall hostel of Paris, managed by the 1st non profit youth hostelling organisation in Paris, to get a cheap bed + a free early french breakfast between the vibrant shopping district of Opera and Montmartre with Sacré Coeur, Pigalle and Moulin Rouge a street closed to the Hostel. As informed to provide the cheapest bed in the best located hostel of Paris, wi-fi as an option for 2 euros, facilities are cleaned from 2 to 3 times per day, but we can't give any guranty on your roomate. Next time, for more service, just pay a bit more, to get a private connected room with private facilities in BVJ Opéra-Montmartre !

- No FREE Wifi (2 euros 1 day) - No credit card payment - No kitchen - No microwave - No personal key for room, just 1 key for all people - No nice service from cleaning staff - No temperature control in showers - No security boxes - No alive social area - No plugs in your bed, neither personal lamp. Their excuse is that they are the 1st non profit youth hostelling organisation in Paris. For 1 or 2 euros more, you get other better place. Great service from Armelle. Thanks a lot!.
