Baan dinso is terrific. They really care about the details. They have lots of art and culture collections. It's really impressive. Especailly mum (sorry about don't know how to spell the manager's name) is really friendly and nice person. She introduce why the hostel named dinso and the culture stuff around that area. It's so regretful that we cannot talk more. And all other staff is nice too. Wish you guys come to China in the nearly future. Best wishes!

Great location, beautiful house (Thai style). Staff is amazing and avaiable. The owner and her son are very friendly and give very good advices. This guest house is not far from the Grand Palace. The breakfast is delicious. Rooms spacious and extremely clean. AC works perfectly well and free - internet acces wi-fi in each room.

Baan Dinso was wonderful. It is difficult to find in a small and sketchy alley. They did provide email attachments of a map and directions for the cab which were great. The Democracy Monument landmark was the key. Once you arrive it's an oasis of serenity. Quiet, charming and spotlessly clean. They gave us an extra bed without a charge and were as warm and hospitable as anyone could ever want. Breakfast was excellent, low cost mini bar and free wifi made the stay even better.

We travel a lot and this is one of the best accommodation experiences we have had. A really lovely, charming place, exceeded only by the kindness and consideration of the staff. An oasis in Bangkok, highly recommended.

This is just such a nice place to stay with verf friendly staff. Due to the flood in Bangkok the restaurant was closed, so I don´t know about the food. But the house is beautyfull. I will stay there again next time.

Baan Dinso was a beautiful, peaceful retreat and so much more than a hostel! Good location - 10 min walk to Khao San Rd so far enough away to be out of the noise. Breakfast was included in the price and was delicious. Comfortable, clean rooms and shared bathrooms but these were also of a high standard. Helpful local staff. Surrounding neighbourhood has lots of tasty and cheap food. Take earplugs in case you are awoken at night by the cats - this was only minor however :) Thank you Baan Dinso!

Great little hostel that is more like a hotel. Lovely staff more than willing to help with anything. Restaurant has delicious food as well. Highly recommend!

Extremely clean & quiet! Definitely a quiet haven away from the craziness in Bangkok - but still close to some of the best sights. The staff made me feel very welcome and the extra touches (departure gift, minibar, etc.) were appreciated. The showers were downstairs, which could be annoying (especially if they're flooded...) and the fact that they are separate from the room is the only thing that makes this a hostel. Not too easy to meet other travelers.

They must be getting bored with being told how amazing their hostel is, but it is amazing. I travelled for 8 months and deliberately left staying at Baan Dinso until my last night before flying home. I'm very glad I did as it sets a standard most hostels can't hope to meet. Great staff and the little touches put the icing on the cake.

This was an amazing hostel! It was more like a boutique hotel. Full of charm and character with helpful and friendly staff. Everything was spotlessly clean and the decoration was so beautiful. Such a relaxing place to stay in busy Bangkok!

This small little hostel in the heart of an old district of Bangkok is simply a paradise! Baan Dinso means "Pencil House", and the hostel itself should be anyone's first landmark visit upon arrival in Bangkok. This is THE place to practice your cooking skills in authentic Thai cuisine. It is extremely new and clean, and the complimentary breakfasts are amazing! It is only about 5 to 10 minutes walk from Khao San Road and seconds from the Democracy Monument. I could not have picked a better one!
