We only spent one night here but thought it was fantastic! Our room was huge with a beautiful bed which was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was included and also very nice. It only takes 5 mins to walk into the centre and so the location is fine. I would definately stay here again and recomend it highly to everyone.

Baan Rub Aroon is a lovely guesthouse close to the centre of Chiang Rai. It is beautifully clean and cared for. We had such a lovely stay at Baan Rup Aroon. The room was amazing and very spacious. Facilities were great and the staff were so friendly. 5 star service at a 2 star price, they always made sure I was ok! and made reccomendations as to where to go, She even had a tour guide and a bike come over! Be careful if you are thinking in travelling to Laos. They would try to sell you the slow-boat ticket in an unreal-price, much more expensive than the real price, telling you that the boats are very busy and you need to buy the tickets in advance. But it is true! The conditions of the accommodation and breakfast are good.Be careful if you are thinking in travelling to Laos. This place is a haven...a real home away from home. It provides a calm and welcoming atmosphere, which makes you feel relaxed immediately. Rooms are spacious and comforatble. It was a bit quiet at the time I was there but it very clean.
