Dorms were really lovely, big windows and ours even had a balcony! The bathroom was great too, nice and big, and even had a showergel provided (and a stack of loo roll - non of this having to venture out to get a new one everyday!) We only stayed a few days for a half moon but loved our stay and all the staff (including the bike hire thing - if you need to get one defo get it through the hostel, fair and friendly!! :) Would recommend for sure!

We stayed in a private room and thought the facilities were amazing, better than any hotel in Thailand we had stayed at before! The lady on reception was so friendly and helpful. The hostel is the perfect location for the half moon party and you can meet loads of people in the communal area to party with. Already recommended this hostel to fellow travellers!

Overall I have no recommendations for improvements. You are doing good with the location and building at your disposal.

Sociable hostel with a communal area that also has a TV with a hard drive full of films. This is the kind place where everyone in the hostel gets to know each other which is cool. The owner Scott is friendly and can sort things out like moped rental as well. I stayed in a dorm which felt like more of a hotel room than a dorm room as it was clean and had an ensuite. There is WiFi in the dorms and common area and lockers too. There's a fridge where you can buy beers and water as well. Great place

Really good hostel, clean, good location, everything you are looking for is there. I stayed during the "No big party time" and it was great to relax and enjoy the island. Scott is always willing to help you with anything.

Overall it was a good hostel, you have free Wifi, access to computers and endless amount of movies on the TV. The atmosphere is really good and Scott is always helpful. A taxi ride is needed to get to anywhere decent but there is a 7Eleven 10mins walk down the road. I would like to note my Room/Bathroom wasnt cleaned for the duration of my stay (5 days) and there are only small lockers for valuables available downstairs. During the festive period I thought it was hugely overpriced aswell.

Scott is a really great guy. I had an accident and he was very helpful. Baan Tai is around 15 minutes where the Full Moon Partys happen but they have Black Moon Party and Jungle Experience really close. I had a great time there. Take care, Scott.

Great hostel. As the info says it is not in Haad Rin but Baan Tai (as the name suggests). However, it is just a 10-15 minute taxi ride away from Haad Rin (for the Full Moon Party) and closer than most of the Island. Owner (I presume) is an American (I think) dude who lays it out straight, no messing. That's what I like so I really appreciated it. Room was awesome with balcony and a great bathroom. Clean, and with a great common area. A ten minute walk to a short line of shops and restaurants.

The hostel owner, Scott, is amazing. He's super helpful, accommodating, and really cares about providing good service. He also makes sure that the party always gets started at the hostel before any other event. Really easy to meet people here and make friends. The beach across the street is nice and quiet - definitely a good alternative to Haad Rin. Highly recommend.

The staff was very friendly and the hostel in very good condition. It would be even a better place if there were small reading lights next to the beds as the main lights are very bright if you are sleeping upstairs.
