I hated this Hostel the whole place especially the bathroom was filthy!, the sheets had holes in them. The Air con leaked which virtually flooded the room. The owner tried to be soo super cool someimes friendly other times not. Kicking the poor stray dog was definately not cool!! I checked out after 2 nights I was booked for 4 but for once was happy to lose money. Bottom line..if your after a party Hostel but don't mind filth you may like it. Otherwise stay well clear!!! I hated it!!!!!!!!!!!

The rooms here are basic but clean! The bathroom in our dorm was the nicest bathroom I have seen in a long time! Beds are spacious and it's easy to meet people in the dorm, however this hostel was lacking a common room which of course would have been better. Despite this, Scott (who I think is the owner) was incredibly informative, helpful and trustworthy and he also set up beer pong for the pre-drinking/social before the Half Moon Party which made him even more awesome. Great time was had!

For me there is no other choice of hostels in Phangan. stayed here twice in 1 month cant beat it met amazing people here! Scott the owner is a great host, getting everyone together for drinks before moon partys and always checking everyone is good and the rooms are ok. No lockers but Scott will always keep your valuables safe if your worried, CCTV around the whole building 24/7. Newton the kitten is a great addition! looking forward to my next visit! its going to be great!

Very modern, clean hostel, felt a little sterile as there was no where to really hang out and meet other travelers, and it was quiet when I was there so my room was also empty. Facilities were great though, Wifi in the room and great bathrooms.

great place to stay for the full moon! The guy who runs it is a legend! showers can be a little low on the pressure side of things but this wasn't too much of a bother.

We stayed here over full moon and were extremely happy with what we had chosen. Scott at the hostel couldn't have been more helpful and when he told us that we were able to use a nearby resort right on the beach, with pool, bar and restaurant we were even happier. Use of these facilities also came with 2 for 1 offers on drinks and discount on meals. Definitely recommend a stay here!

This is an extremely nice hotel with nice rooms, beds, WiFi and staff. Only 1 thing would have made it better; a common refrigerator

We stayed here for Full Moon and though it's a bit far from Haadrin, it's in a nicer area and it's just 100b each for a taxi to the party. Our room was big & clean - comfy bed, hot shower - we had no complaints! The owner/manager Scott is really friendly & easygoing and the hostel has a nice relaxed vibe (mostly down to him). It's linked to the nearby Hacienda Resort, so you can use their pool, gym, etc. for free. We'd definitely stay here again if we were returning to Koh Phangan.

Buy some sheets without massive holes! Slept pretty much on the mattress. We got an ensuite room. The bathroom was fine, bed was ok, room was ok. Fridge was pretty smelly. No common room but Scott makes an effort to bring people together. 7 night minimum is a bit of a silly policy. The Gala dinner was awful and a total waste of money. Its still pretty new, once it gets into the swing of things I'm sure it will be a great place to stay.

The owner/manager scott is ver helpful, helped us with everything we needed to know about the island and where to go. Very secure with swipe cards for entry and cleaning service available everyday if needed. About 10-15 mins from Haad Rin and far enough that you can escape the craziness and relax by Baan Tai beach.

It's a new hostel and it was out of season so it was pretty quite but the guy who owned it was very cool and personable, I'd def come back again. I would say the directions arn't great so it took me ages to find and the local haven't heard of it as it's new so as for (don't know how it's spelled) 'weyenthai' hotel if you get lost. Location is good as it's near the ferry port but far enough from the crazyness in the south.

We stayed at the hostel for three nights and were thoroughly impressed. Scott the hostel manager was incredibly helpful - providing suggestions, sorting out problems and even organising games for the Half Moon Party. The location is good and away from the hustle of Haad Rin while still in an area with plenty to do. Rooms were all excellent, very clean with good hot showers and A/C. It felt very secure with double locks and a security door. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

Very confortable beds...and very Quiet location....and this is very important point ..if you expect to sleep to recover from your nite or expedition. As in KPN Hostels are very noisy with 2 cm mattress so u cannot sleep very very well. Location is excellent , just between the party site and the natural sites... There is no common area so that makes it difficult to create atmosphere. There is no locker in the rooms. But there are many other good things that will make your stay here enjoyable.

Stayed here for the full moon party. It was such good fun and everyone drinks Outside together so it's good if your on your own. The only thing really is that it's very overpriced, considering the location, you would think it would be less.. You have to get a tuk tuk to Haad rin which is always 100baht each. It's a good 20 min tuk tuk drive away. It's a really good hostel and Scott who runs it is v helpful and friendly!
