Great hostel in Krabi Town! Perfect location for the night markets literally a 2 minute walk away!! The owner and her husband were super helpful with everything we wanted to book so I would advise book anything through them! They do private taxi boats to Railay Beach cheaper than most! Rooms were spacious beds were big! Only down side was no AC so rooms tend to get a little warm if your bed isn't near a fan! We stayed one night in a dorm one night in a double. The double was very very nice!

We had a really nice stay here. Everybody of the staff were so nice. Into the city centre it's only a five minute walk.

I only stayed there for 1 night to sleep while waiting for the plane. It was quite all right and is very close to the night market which is a nice thing. Clean and the staff are very helpful and nice :)

Friendly owner but a bit away from beaches etc (as it is in Krabi town). Good for a base to start day trips from as facilities are nice and clean. Would stay here again

Hostel is in a cleam, safe, and friendly neighood. Strangers go out of their way to say hello in english. Even those not employed directly or indirectly in tourism are friendly and helpful. From the hostel, turn left at the sea lion stop light and walk 2 blocks to the riverfront for a view of the symnol of Krabi....Khao Khanap Nam (twin peaks) along the river. Take some silly pictures with the crab sculptures, if you like. Abundant shopping and street food is close to the hostel?

If you are staying for a couple of nights before moving onward, it is not a bad place. Really basic rooms. The dorms are fans not AC. No common area really to lounge in, so very hard to socialize

maybe the most clean hostel I've ever been and if you don't hesitate contact, staff will care like you're family member

The main door is always remained unlock so you have to rent out either for locker or have to keep your bags zipped well. Also there is no PCs or common room for guests' use. Anyway, this hostel stays close to the Pattaya restaurant (highly recommended by Trip Advisor) and at the center of the island. It has the big value for money with the air-conditioner room!

Very nice staff that was eager to help me and my friends with whatever we needed. The hostel is new and a great deal for backpackers and anyone who is looking for a quiet, cheap, clean, and comfortable place to stay.

A very spacious hotel (which, to be fair, could strike you as intimitating) for a ridiculously low price.

Good hostel overall. Very large bedrooms and helpful staff. Close to night market. Our room was on the fifth floor so quite a trek up the stairs - but prepared us for the tiger cave temple! Also very hot room with the fan, so might have been a lot more comfortable in the air con rooms.

Great location, lovely staff and nice atmosphere to the place. Free tea and coffee is also a genius idea and we really appreciated that. We were even allowed to have a shower after we had checked out as we were out all day and had to wait for a night bus. I thought this was a really nice touch and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

One of the better places I've stayed during 2 months of traveling SE Asia. The room had a funny smell to it, but it was OK with the window open. Internet worked well and place was clean. Free Tea and Coffee!

Staff really rude. They wanted us to pay twice the price when we arrived. They said that on internet the air conditionning is not oncluded which was probably false. Anyways, there was cockroach on the alley of our room. Don't worth the price...

Baan Gafiyah is a great place for more of a quiet visit (not quite the backpacker scene as some hostels). My boyfriend and I stayed here one night before out adventure to Railay beach and we really liked it. We had a huge room with A/C for only 20 bucks and it definitely felt like a 4 star resort. The owner is so nice and will give you advice on where to eat and go. The place is very safe and only a block from the night market!
