Very basic accommodation in modest facilities but there are great river views and a nice outdoor restaurant area. The owners are very friendly, helpful and honest, good people. They give you a free ride to the border in the morning.

Overall a decent place to stay. The owners very helpful but some of the other staff speak very little English. No one else in the dorm room I was in. Beds VERY hard and there is quite a lot of noise early in the morning. Also it is a bit of a walk from the main part of town. Very good homely atmosphere though!

The original room we were shown for 200 baht for the night was shown to us after seeing the optional bungalow upgrade. With a perfect view of the Mekong, our own private balcony and bathroom, we upgraded immediately. The staff were friendly and very helpful arranging free transport to Thai Immigration to cross into Laos. Also the food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast.

Definitely a great place to stay if you are looking to cross the border into Laos. The owners are super friendly; they even came to pick me up at the bus stop and took me to the border crossing for free! They were very helpful and overall are great people. The rooms are clean and the hostel has a great location on the river. Only neg. is that it can get a bit buggy at night, so if you are walking around at night make sure to bring bug spray (but the rooms are good at keeping out mosquitoes)!

A fantastic place to stay. The hosts are superb and make you feel so welcome, as well as fostering such a laid-back feel to the place. Eating and drinking at night overlooking the banks of the Mekong with lanterns and music drifting over from Laos will be a memory that stays with me for a long time. Superb, I'll be back.
