The owners of this guesthouse were super helpful and friendly! The beach is literally right across the street, which is exactly what we wanted. The rooms are rustic (like a camp cabin), but our expectations weren't high. My biggest complaint about this hostel was the noise. The hostel is right beside a mosque that has a call to prayer at 6am every morning. The announcing can go on for up to half an hour. Obviously this isn't the hostel's fault, but it would've been good to know in advance.

A good, budget option. Basic but Clean, comfortable and friendly, helpful owners. Could be noisy depending on your neighbours as the walls are very thin. For breakfast go to the place on the other corner opposite Guan Guan cafe (on the left as you walk up towards the main road). Their plain roti with condensed milk for 1Ringet is a great start to the day (or the banana one for 3r...Mmmm).
The car parks outside the guest house was supposed to be foc or by coupons. Instead, some buggers come and collect money once u occupy the spaces. Bloody nonsense. Rooms are okay, clean. Morning do expect the blaring azan, timely enough as free morning call for adventurous travellers. The veranda at the upper floor do squeaks lots whenever people passes through the corridor outside the rooms. Pillows of room 14 are too hard and high though.
