It is good value for money. However, the only odd thing about it is that you cannot prepare your own food as use of kitchen (stove/etc) is not allowed by tenants. This means living on canned food or having to pay furtunes to the nearby extraordinarily expensive restaurants (yet some local low cost shabby cafes exist). The owners of the hostel are so nice, polite and considerate.
The owners of this guesthouse were super helpful and friendly! The beach is literally right across the street, which is exactly what we wanted. The rooms are rustic (like a camp cabin), but our expectations weren't high. My biggest complaint about this hostel was the noise. The hostel is right beside a mosque that has a call to prayer at 6am every morning. The announcing can go on for up to half an hour. Obviously this isn't the hostel's fault, but it would've been good to know in advance.
